So I threw in Morimoto 2Stroke 3.0's the day I got the truck. The output was even but the brightness just wasn't there, even with the Morimoto XB Fogs. The low beam hid's on my daily Scion tC were about 1.5x as bright. Started to try to rip my housings apart to do an RX350 retrofit but got incredibly pissed at trying to open the housings - never had this much drama when trying to open a headlight before (whyyy are they butyl AND permasealed). Anyways, due to being super pissed and not liking the output of the OEM full led offering I decided on the Mori V2's and have not looked back. They come angled super low but once you get them adjusted properly the output is amazing.

This is it exactly. I'm getting older and I really welcome the increased visibility at night. I got my harness from you today. Looks like a quality harness, just like the reverse license plate light-canceling harness I already have. My aging eyes thank you!

My badd...I didn't ask the question correctly.

I meant for the LEDs/Diodes for the Halos.

Let's say I never did the OEM LED upgrade but wanted to improve on the halogen lamps in the headlights. Would LED/Diode replacements work better? I haven't researched if they make LED/Diodes for my 2021 Sport but I did replace my wife's halogen bulbs with LEDs for her 2017 Elantra.

I just put my factory halogen back in the boxes and stuffed them away. It’s a good set of back up lamps if one of these goes out, I go back to stock or the truck is totaled. Each way the LEDs should be worth more than the halogen.

I used to sell all my stock stuff, but as I get older I find myself kicking myself. I wish I still had my original suspension in boxes.

Its this, or Morimoto XB V2's for me... but their checkout doesnt appear to ship to Canada - sent them an email to see what they can do.
Morimoto is about CAD$2k after tax. These OEM LEDs would probably be just shy of that with this discount after shipping, duty, brokerage fees, etc.
2020 TRD Offroad premium & it came with OEM halogens.

Sometimes I'm tempted to take out my cellphone light instead of these shitty things.

Yes.. that's what I replaced the bulbs with at first (Morimoto 2Stroke's are pnp replacement led bulbs). The output still sucked with them so I swapped complete housings.

Agree to disagree. I had my Morimotos aimed by Safelight when they fixed a rock chip and since they recalibrate sensors and had the beam leveling thing drawn up already in their shop, I asked if they can do it (on the down low) and they did it.

Even with that it didn’t light up very well, especially up high. So now they’re just sitting in my storage unit wondering how much I can realistically get for them. Hell I’ll settle for $500…

Maybe they aimed too low. OE leds are good, but not this good. Glad you're happy with them though. I knew I wouldn't be so I went with the upgrade.

Everyone on this forum always wants to fight, especially about lighting. Do whatever makes you happy lol. I don't really care about your opinion on how I have my lights aimed, I matched these up with my month old truck's OE cutoff's. Nobody flashes me, the light carries like a bauce.

I was so tempted to go with amber, but with my truck being white, couldn't beat the clean look of all white up front for me. Love the switchback feature though with the signals.

I don't think it's a fight more so than a display of "let's see what happens when I say this..."

then we get the popcorn lil guy and everyone reads the dialogue.

I haven't got flashed...sure wish it happened when I walk the hospital hallways...us guys are outnumbered for sure. Did I say I love my job? lol

Yay for lunar, that color is so cool.

    And, it does ;)

All things considered though, that is a really nice price in the OP for the OE lighting assemblies.
