Hey Pro Taco guys, I saw a 2017 pro yesterday with LED headlights. Do these come stock on the Pro model? and are the reflectors in the pro headlights designed for LEDs?

Ive heard some guys put LED bulb in there TRD offroad headlight and they don't preform as well b/c the reflectors aren't designed for LEDs

    Pro comes with halogens.

    No, not designed for LEDs.

LEDs work well enough. But its a matter of taste. Loose a bit of range but can gain more light in other spots.

I have Hikari 12Ks. They are pretty decent.

    1.04. Kbro2s. ICONS.
Pro headlamps are the same thing as off road and sport except they used black paint.

How did you know it had LEDs?

They definitely were halogens, I guess they could have been HID's I didn't think about that

Zyborg, is this because of the projector housing? I have just started to do some research on upgrading to LED's and I am seeing that you loose (slightly) the factory light pattern when using an LED bulb behind the factory low beam projector housing.

If you look at the design of a LED vs a halogen, you will see that LEDs have a “dead” spot. Thats why you loose some pattern.

Some LEDs will be superior to others.

It depends on what H11 LED bulb you buy, as they're not all the same.

Here are some really great customer reviews of our Xtreme Pro H11 LED kit showing beam patterns and lux measurements in H11 koito projectors:

Here's a recent pic on instagram by our customer that compared our H11 LED kit (rated at 1750 lumens) to the LED kit that he was removing (rated at 3500 lumens):
