I just bought a new set of TRD Pro fog lights for my '17 TRD Sport and was looking for feedback on how best to make the install...remove a partial of the wheel well or perhaps try from under the hood; there's a number of differing methods used in YT vids (including removing the front grill <lol>) and was just looking for some ideas one way or the other

I can access the fogs from the hood or the fender liner. I think with a step ladder and good tools doing through the hood seems to be faster and have enough room if you don’t mind resting your stomach on the air box or battery. (Put a towel down)

If you have a big stomach it will likely be more difficult through the hood

I installed two sets and reached down behind the headlights. No need to take the fender liner out. Literally took about20 minutes. Once you get the bezel off you go behind the fog light and use a philips head screwdriver and remove a screw. Take the fog out and then unclip the connector.

I went through the fender liner. Removed just enough clips to reach back of fog light assembly. Easy peezy

Do it from the engine bay. Just pop the hood.
no need to remove the fender liner.
did that for the Cali Raised fogs. Pain in the ass.

I just stuck my hand in the opening behind the headlight.
    Was a 10 minute job.
