Weird. Maybe he was feeling self conscious actually offroading in his mall crawling Pro.

    Why do I feel like I'm channeling @dYL0n ?

That thing looks badass. I want to get a photo of one of my black bizarro Pro brothers (or is it sister?--for my part I haven't decided yet, though I feel she's a girl) next to mine.

While there's a ton of Tacos in my part of Western NY, I've only seen two other Pros, both black. Shared an enthusiastic thumbs up with one, the other guy was too busy texting! Think I'll just start waving to all but I'm sure I'll get a lot of blank stares! BTW, last time I went to the mall (in my Pro!) I saw more than a few ORs, Sports, and SR5s in the parking lot. Imagine that!

    I love my Pro.

Around here “ Jones’ “ drive Bentayga, Tesla X and Wraiths. Only people I keep up with owning a Tacoma Pro while lowering my property value, is my gardener and my pool man

Where I live I don't even really see people with Jeeps wave at each other let alone Tacoma's. I used to own a Jeep and live in another state and it was a thing there but doesn't seem to be as much of a thing in Colorado. Maybe because there are just so many of them I don't know.

    Nah.
Them Joneses do what they like. I just enjoy neat stuff.

(Also and mostly: leather heated seats and no moonroof.)

Around Denver the Pros are marked up 5-10k over MSRP. So I'm sure there are some that buy a Pro and have no idea what they are getting and just get it because its the coolest looking most expensive version. However I feel like if you really knew anything about these trucks you would have a VERY hard time paying that mark up when you can get a TRD Offroad for close to 20k less out the door. I guess if you are someone who money is of no object or the 20k price difference for the badges, leather, and the included mental third leg extension is worth it then go for it! Not knocking the pro I do love them its just crazy around here that people will pay close to 60k for one.

Hey I'll wave to y'all! Mine has a track and lights so it's different than the average Pro.

Not sure where you are looking, but I got my Pro in Colorado for $1,500 under sticker. All other dealerships were starting at MSRP, the only place that wouldn’t even give me a price was Autonation in south Denver. Probably explains why they have over 7 on their lot.

I didn't look into too much I asked a few dealers and they all were that way with the exception of Mountain States but they never had any in stock.
