Yes drove on the 4WD beach to the end. That was my first time there (from jersey) and it definitely won't be my last time. That place blows away jersey shore....and not just because there aren't people from "jersey shore" there! Only thing though my blind spot monitor doesn't work for some reason thought it was sand covering the sensors, but cleaned it and still doesn't work.

Did you have to air down your tires? I plan on going to the OBX soon.

Love OBX....we go every year. Corolla is the spot to go out and test the 4wd out. Did you guys get lucky enough to see any of the wild horses?

From Corolla to the VA line I have maxed powered a few Toyotas. Hang a left and go into the woods and you might see a bear and some deer like we did.

    Stock for now
When I was there before beach driving season ended in kill devil hills a month or two ago I just popped in 4wd and rolled on. No air changes at all. I think I was around 30 psi

Didn't air down the tires just threw it in 4WD high even in the deep sand I was fine. We did see a wild horse and brought her home as you can see. ( no we didn't see the horses and I bought that mask so we could drive by others looking for them and they could witness a mustang driving a Tacoma!)

I have done the tire deflate thing and it did not help or make any difference. Sidewalls so stiff they dont spread out much to none so I quit doing it.
