Is that a Pro badge on the side? You really are a poser!
At least you could have gotten a Pro color!

I get it man. When I played flag football, I always sported a faux hawk in the championship game.

Pretty sure that's a TRD BRO badge that was available here for awhile for a few sheckles. More than a few guys have them and he built his truck to suit his needs. More than some of you PRO owners have. Its a TRD BRO bitches, not pretending to be anything other than that.

Badge is fine as far as I'm concerned.

Get your panties out of a wad....

Funny, 42k is what I paid for my 2017 pro.

I still don't regret paying the "10k extra for a lift and cosmetics" (the difference was not 10k)

I have only seen less than 10 total pros here in south FL within the year I have owned it. I have seen multiple peasents in OR's and sports in ex pro exclusive cement and cavalry colors though. Pro grille and all:brianr:. (Im kidding lol!!!)

The real reason I got a pro is because it was at the dealer already and it was a manual. No sunroof was also a plus. Choose what you like and what your wallet allows. :spending::thumbsup:

The 2019 OR's with the P&T package are pretty much loaded. I do understand why its a better purchase for people who rip all the factory suspension out.

I was looking for a Sport... but I've read about a lot of light off road use working with 4x2 and I know I'm very likely never going to need the Pro functions. I do not regret my OR at all... consider what you want to do with it. As an awesome truck, I see it as a win-win scenario.:thumbsup:

I'd never be going off-road with my Pro. Just a daily driver with heated leather seats and a nice suspension right from the factory. White, nope don't want a white one. Black.....ahh maybe. Every time I step on a lot and look at the black ones, they just look too shiny and black. Every little piece of dirt and crap will show.

Maybe next year Toyota will come out with a new color. I will not, can not own Voodoo Blue.

And all that on a Pro is warranted for 3/36 or 5/50,000 or more if you extend the warranty. As someone who modified a 17 OR the warranties were 12 months for all the parts I added. That may not be important to you, so you would factor that into the decision. I traded to an 18 Pro because I wanted a MT, and didn't want to make many modifications. I removed some of them from the 17 and installed them on the 18 Pro. There are many decision paths one can take.

It's a deeply personal choice. if you like what the pro offers in terms of leather sunroof Etc, it may be a better choice for you.

I like the look of the pro but not the price.

I opted to go with a 4-1 or 4Runner Pro Tires and Wheels, and got them as part of the deal on an OR.

For the money they wanted on the pro I would have wanted a much better power like a V8 or Supercharger.

I am no stranger to pricey trim packages having own several BMW M series, but you usually get substantial performance improvements that just went there in the Tacoma trim packages.

If I had done my research in committed to purchasing the wheels I did, I think the sport may have saved me about $1,000 and come with a couple of cool things I didn't get in my OR.

Off roads don’t have lame fake hood scoops.

My OR came with Auto dimming and a compass. Bought a Home link which uses same harness. 3 min install.

One more thing that's a vote in favor of the pro.... Having lifted other 4 x 4 vehicles and done the work myself or with other enthusiasts and having done work by Pros.....I have to say the aftermarket modifications can yield sub optimal results and you can really mess your truck up and end up hating the ride quality.

With the pro you get a decent uplift in terms of suspension quality but you can test drive it before you buy it something you can't do when doing aftermarket.
