at this rate I'm gonna have to swing back to the stealership and claim to test drive a Pro and go park it behind the warehouse somewhere and swap out the grille, exhaust and shift knob then return it back and hope they wont notice...lol.

serious guys, we need some vendor to get on the ball here.

I can see if I can get a group by going if someone can confirm all we need is the grille insert.

I'm probably going to order one and just not pay for it unless it fits, I work at a Toyota dealership. They will either return it or stick in the parts inventory.

Your discount is probably better than mine then. I get everything at cost + 15% usually.

So Toyota (corporate) is calling me back today. They said they would have the trd pro part numbers for me, but they won't be available for retail sale until the first wave of pros hits the streets as they are using all parts to manufacturer prior to retail sale.

It probably won't be long before someone who buys a 17 Pro will decide they don't like the grill, exhaust, etc. and start posting them for sale here :fingerscrossed:

My parts guy said he could have the grille parts in 3-5 business days.

That would amazing. This would be completely possible if it was a shared part number with another vehicle. However, if it's pro specific part...id love to see or know how he's going to accomplish that. And if he can, I'll order all my parts through him as well

I'll run over there at lunch and pick their brains a bit. I know I've been having issues buying some 15+ Mustang parts due to production but I can usually still get them. I did have to wait 39 days for a 2.3L ecoboost engine block I ordered because they had to pull one from the production line. But they also had 4 revisions of the part in 3 months. It was a cluster.

I went to the dealer yesterday with a trd pro vin and the parts wouldn't even pull up. I called corporate and they were suppose to email me the part numbers...which they didn't. Called back again this morning and they are calling back...we will see if that happens as well. The part numbers won't even pull up in the dealers system with the vin

Sounds like I may have to smack my parts guy around then. I'll keep everyone updated.

    Left hook from me please.

Does anyone know if the trd pro hood is the same part number as the sport hood in 2016?

I realize the insert is flat black and may be different

I think the black part is just a vinyl decal.

Yeah there is a decal, but if you look at the sport and the pro hood, the pro hood utilizes a flat black cowl insert the same as the sport hoods use a color match insert

I am thoroughly entertained by the manual TRD Pro shift knob pictures that have been posted so far on this forum. All of them are like photos of bigfoot that you have to squint to make out, haha.

This one is probably the best I've seen so far. I think I can make out some colored accents on the side.

Def will be ordering one of these when my manual OR comes in.

So do we know yet if the Pro grill by itself is all that is needed for the swap?

When you go in and have them try to find the part, their system shows it as a 4 piece part. But I'm sure all we need is the grille.
