Same here. I'm on the fence about the front grille now that I've seen close up photos. I don't care how the top of it sticks out to make it look more flat/level. Maybe seeing it in person will make me change my mind.

Does anyone else feel like Toyota copied a lot of ideas from this forum? Blacked out badges, TOYOTA grill emblem, BHLM...all seen here first.

    Digging the cement color anyway.

I was thinking how easy it would be to de-badge until I saw those Hex Head screws! Let's hope they are for looks and not holes in the doors.

My thoughts exactly. Gotta confirm those things can come off cleanly. Besides those, I love the truck.

Can you imagine someone stealing them just for fun and leaving holes behind? :infantry:

Interested in the suspension and Rigid fogs. Actually, can't wait to see how the suspension feels.

I like everything about it except the badge and the wheels. The wheels on the 2nd gen pro looked much better, these just look kinda generic

Could you tell if the TRD Pro badges were stick-on or screwed in to the metal? It looks like there are are screw heads on the badges but they might be fake.

I didn't pay that much attention to it. I would never buy one since you can't get a moon roof with one.

Got to have that grill. Much better looking than the TRD 2016 grill

Like the headlights, taillights, foglights, and suspension. The 4Runner TRD Pro wheels look 1000x nicer and that grill is hideous. Sticks out even further. . . . no thanks. Aftermarket ones are MUCH nicer

I hope those badges are stick on too, but if they're not I bet someone on the forum could come up with something less gaudy using the same holes.

Nice job on the pictures. I didn't take enough in Chicago but it looks like you could get closer and behind. Did you get any photos of the parts display?

The TOYOTA grille emblem is from old Land Cruisers. More than likely most of those things have been designed long before they sold a 16, though I'm sure they see things from time to time and take a few good ideas for the future.

Im confused about why everyone is in love with the cement color, I mean, its grey lol. I would have preferred black.

It is non-metallic, which is why i like it...just hope they offer it across the line and not just on TRD Pros.

Thanks for posting...I really like it!

    Fact.

If it were mine (and I might have one like it...someday) I think I'd like the wheels with a little more offset/different backspacing.

I guess to each their own, to me grey is a boring color and one of the most popular with car manufacturers since its neutral, i just would have thought they'd offer black before grey but ill go with grey over red or white.

Only thing I'd want to take off of it would be the grille. I much prefer that to the chrome on the TRD Off Road.
