Posers? You own a brand new 2016 Tacoma and I highly doubt you "wheel" your truck at all. Pavement princess. In fact most people on this forum "wheel" in shit I can nurse 2wd through.

 

I want one and the only time it will go off road is when i go camping

I'm still miffed these yahoo's at Toyota released it at the Chicago show and not the Detroit one ... It's kind of typical the import manufacturers love to spit in Detroit's face lol, so the NAIAS often has a bit weaker of an import showing ... Once I heard it was revealed at the Chicago show, I was very close to driving over just to see it. On my one weekend off during the show I ended up going skiing instead lol ...

Honestly think these are one of the nicest wheels on the 2nd gen Tacoma but I dont like how they look on the 3rd Gen at all! The 4Runner TRD Pro wheels look 1000x better

 

Yeah the 4R TRD wheels are about as close to wheel perfection as it gets, IMO. There is a reason why so many switch to those. I wonder how many, if anyone here, would switch to these new Tacoma Pro wheels. lol

 

Not me. Toyota really dropped the ball on these. I'm also glad I ordered the BAMF grill insert and not wait for the Pro grill, seriously ugly!! And why on earth would they make it stick out MORE????

 

They are literally the worst looking wheel I've ever seen in my entire life.

yep, when I saw it for the 1st time I thought, wtf were they thinking with that
tire & wheel combo???

I really like the color and the blacked out lights and fogs look nice.

The color made me think about the swap but.... currently, I do zero off-roading which
is why I didn't go for the OR. I also like the sunroof and I don't believe that is being
offered in the Pro.

Won't be the first to say it but... wheels are garbage, tires are weak, side badge is ridiculous. Other than that I like it. Suspension, grill, headlights, leather+JBL+manual is great but it won't be worth the markup. 7545 is still the best buy in my opinion and you can easily make it better than the TRD Pro for the difference in coins.

 

So is the skewp actually black? Or is it another vinyl sticker like the hood decal accessory that's also shown on the Pro?
