    I believe it's a sticker.

My guess is they went with those wheels because they are cheaper, seems like the 4runner and trd pro got same wheels.

I honestly don't mind them, but i would like the same color as the 4runner ones, just not metallic, more like flat black.

Tires they could have done a better job.

Yeah i agree, that's probably my favorite cosmetic part of the trd pro.

Not sure why people are complaining that the grill sticks out, it's very similar to the 2nd gen trd pro...the front end of the 3rd gen just sticks out more in general.

Personally, I've love the 2nd gen TRD Pro wheels (in Bronze) on a white 3rd gen TRD Pro (manual)!!

Yes or the FN Wheels copycat. Just my opinion but I dont think the last tacoma TRD Pro beadlock wheels look as good on the 3rd Gen as they did on the 2nd Gen

The ledge they put at the top of the Pro grill looks like a great place to set your beer lol. Looking directly from the front the grill looks good but when you see it from the side and see that flat 3" or so ledge on the top edge I think it ruins the entire thing. The 2nd Gen Pro grill didnt have a drink ledge hanging off the top of it, was more flush

To each his own. I loved the beadlocks on the 3rd gen just as much as I did on the 2nd gen. Got to see it firsthand this weekend at the Hawaii Auto Show and I loved it! Although I was really hoping to see the new TRD Pro, I was pleasantly surprised to see this unique combo.

Why does everyone keep calling those BEADLOCK WHEELS?

    They are not BEADLOCKING WHEELS

Yeah, and the rolls aren't usually made in California either!

I like the mat black on the 4runner wheels better, but I don't mind the Tacoma TRD Pro wheels.

Nice. Thanks for the pic. Same offset on the new Pro wheels as the 2nd gen fake beadlocks?

I'm not sure, but to my eyes, they look the same.

Their staff was not very knowledgeable on stuff beyond the typical packages/options. I think the staff was brought into the show because they can speak other languages (especially since this is a very different market here than it is back in the mainland).

My best guess is that it's just plastic black. Because on the TRD sport it says color keyed roof scoop.
The TRDs is not going to be color keyed.

IMO the pro is ugly (especially the cement paint) But I have no doubt people will pay all the money for one just to "have one within their peer group"...

The Bead locks on that Inferno looks MUCH better

From the official press release, it states a blacked-out hood scoop and graphic so I'm going to say it's painted. I wondered the same thing, but doubt they'd put two different vinyls for the scoop and graphic.

Any word if the new wheels are forged?
The glossy finish isn't terrible. In my experience the matte stuff gets scratched up a lot easier and doesn't look so great after a year or two.

I'm sure the seating surfaces are coated leather like most cars these days and the sides are leatherette.
Coated leather looks nice, basically has a coating of vinyl paint on the top, but it scratches easily and its thin stuff.
Real, thick uncoated leather (think a Mercedes from the 1980's) is dyed and you can see the grain in it. That's the stuff you're supposed to treat with conditioner but most cars don't have that in them anymore.
