I'm with you, thought the cement looked pretty cool, but i feel like white would look better.

I think the msrp won't be too bad, but the dealers markup will be up there and since they will be limited and the dealers know they will sell every last one of them i would rather wait until they have been out a little bit.

I just wish it was available in DCLB. Aw well, it's not a deal breaker.

I just wish they had a better white then the boring plain white, like pearl white that's available to the 4Runner or Lexus models

 

It's an off road truck, by leave no trace principles it should be bland and boring so that it doesn't stand out in the wilderness and ruin the outdoor experience for others. If you want to be noticed cruising the mall you can get the Barcelona red metallic one. To each his own.

Besides the FJ I can't think of any other vehicle that comes in that color right now. 90% of everything on the road is painted with metallics or pearls.

 

@Prospector520 - I believe the Scion TC comes in that color as well.

Correct but... less than 1 hour after calling him out in emails about the specs and pics of an actual Tacoma Pro,
they changed both text and the pics on their site to what they were actually selling which is an OR with a few mods.

Love it. Blows all the other Tacos away for sure. Just wish it could be had in Blue. I'd probably go for the white or cement.

 

It also comes in red, wondering what that will look like. I'm sure it would look good just not my taste for a truck. Motorcycle or sports car sure...I'm surprised they didn't do black or quicksand or inferno.

Apparently red vehicles get pulled over the most...guess because that's probably a popular color for sports cars and bikes.

 

I like red. I used to have a '06 Taco in Radiant Red. I just don't like any of the reds they've been using since Radiant Red. I agree The TRD Pro would look great in Quicksand.

 

Is the Pro going to receive a tranny update or does it have the same problematic 6-speed auto?

I would hope that all 2017's will be getting a tranny update from what I have been reading (not just the Pro).
...but the "real" fix is to get the manual!

 

There won't be an update for the 2017 unless it's TSBed for all of us.

But there is nothing wrong with the 6 speed auto. It's doing exactly what Toyota programmed it to do

 

I find that I'm always looking for more after 30 mins.
