TRD Pro Shift Knob - those who have it - is it worth it?

I have one as well and like the way you grip it especially, with the stage 2 MESO switches. Left switch is for the ECT and right switch is for my Beatsonic front/rear camera anytime mode.

 

I never could bring myself to get one when they were around $100. During the TRD sale with 40% off, I got one for about $60, so that wasn't quite as bad. Now that I have it though, the stock shifter just doesn't look or feel right. The larger surface area on top of the Pro shifter makes it a little more natural to rest my hand there.

My only issue right now is that it has red on the shifter and I have the orange dash trim. It's honestly not that noticeable unless your really looking at it, but I know it's different and that makes my eye twitch a little lol.

 

The Pro shift knob shape is fine in the automatic, since you barely ever touch it. It sucks ass for the manual transmission, and I replaced it within 20 miles of getting my truck.

 

so I went ahead and got me a pro shifter and decided the red had to go and color match would be nice so I did just that. Very happy with how it turned out.

EDIT: After driving with both the stock 6speed manual trd sport shifter (since new) and the newly installed 6speed manual trd pro shift knob, I very much recommend the pro. The front under curve makes shifting to 2nd,4th and 6th much nicer as well as feeling much better in the hand. Not only does it feel better but it looks alot better than the ugly double ball style stock shifter. It was a bit pricey but overall I am still very happy with my decision to install this shifter and would do it again.
