The Sr5 grille with the SR black bezel or an SR grille is the best grill imho (See sig).

Lol Toyota can't sue for the leak. It's not like they set up a contract with someone to work on a prototype and they took pics and posted online. This truck is driving on the street and sitting in plain view on a dealer lot. They are driving it around. I don't understand what the big deal is the trucks already been unvieled. Of course it's a pre-production version so there could and probably will be a few slight changes. Toyota can't do anything about it. Bottom line, if they want it to not be seen, than they shouldn't be driving it around in public

I dunno the grill sticks out further than ours.... I like what they were going for with the vintage look, but for fucks sake, recess the damned thing. And those door badges are hideous. Let's be real.

The Tacoma may be my first truck and IMO, I think the TRD Pro looks great. Not sure why so many people dislike it.

From what I've read, seems like the biggest reasons are the tires, wheels and trd pro badge on the side.

Well that's actually one of my favorite parts about it. Sure beats the stock chrome grill imo.

I'll be honest, I'm a complete noob when it comes to trucks but I think all of it looks great haha. Plan on picking up a TRD Pro in White when they are released.

That's a crock of shit. The pictures are no different than the unit Toyota showed at the Dallas auto show, and other venues, TO THE PUBLIC.

I think the truck looks over done. The trd pro 4runner looks way better, sleek and simple. and it comes with way cooler rims. i have them on my taco now, they shoudve used the same ones on the trd pro taco

Why do the wheels look so Glossy. I'm not huge into that look. I would prefer the Matte Black.

I think matte gets scratched up a lot quicker, I'm good with glossy. I'm not in love with the rims but they do have kind of a simple, no-nonsense industrial/military look to them. Like something an H1 Hummer would have. Couple that with Cement Gray and some bigger All-Terrains and you'll have one badass looking truck.
As far as I'm concerned all the auto show pictures we've been seeing of Cement Gray don't do it justice. Go look at an FJ in that color and it's much darker. Will be a head turner for sure.

Lol, ok. Just passing on the information I have, that's all. The trucks are supposed to go to a commercial, the transport guys.. Well, something happened, idk, they haven't picked em up yet. We're full in the back.

I (allegedly) posted pictures here and on FB. My GSM (allegedly) saw it in Facebook. Said Toyota is threatening law suits for leaked pictures due to three (I won't name them) differences between these and the ones posted in the cement color by Toyota, as they're prototyping parts. He also told me I would face disciplinary action from the dealership, if I had actually posted pictures.

Dipping back out of this thread. That's what I've been told. If you don't agree then that's fine. If you want to keep trying to shoot a messanger who's just elaborating on his experiences than feel free to go :luvya:. I'm not a Toyota marketing director. I'm a lot manager at a dealership. Just saying what happened to me personally.
