I like it ... Still streetable ... But easily modified into a real Baja truck with it's own character.

I wonder if it has a vin. The first trd pro tundra vin we got is what enabled us to get the part number for trd pro grill. I can't wait to get that grill for my truck and be rid of that nasty chrome.

Looks like a wrap. You can see where two pieces of vinyl overlay on the side of the grill next to the headlight.

Yeahhhh, you can count me in on that one too. That grill would be sick on a black truck!

    None, but willing to learn.
Is it just me or do the wheels look like they have hearts in them?

I'm still torn between getting this grill or the SR5 one. I'm having a hard time getting past the Pro grill sticking out, but I like everything else about it more.

While I like what they have done, I personally would not buy one. You could do all the upgrades, suspension wise, much cheaper then they are charging. Also, not a fan the wheel...

Color-matched BAMF grill would look way better than that gaudy Pro grill. Pic swiped from the other thread.

Maybe so but its still ugly. Why on earth did they make it stick out farther?? The BAMF is 10000000000x better

With all due respect to that grill, I prefer the Pro to that. I still like the grill to look factory.

Yes maybe but there is more than just the suspension. The grill, lights, interior is all different. Also pricing hasn't been released. So while you can put a better suspension on it for maybe the price difference from a SR5 to the Pro, I highly doubt you could change out everything else for that amount.

Also I would think it won't be much more than an TRD sport or Or. Limited should be more expensive than the PRO. If not honestly your gonna be better off getting a Tundra pro for the money

The PRO has ALWAYS been the most expensive Tacoma, and seeing that it has every option the limited has (minus moonroof) plus the upgrades I GUARANTEE it will be more expensive. $41-43k guarantee. And stupid fog lights, grill can all be had better and cheaper, the shift knob you'll be able to purchase and the leather you can get done yourself. You can't win the argument you can build a more capable, plush truck for less. But the PRO is marketed for the image buyers/guys who want a factory lifted/baja looking truck, just like Raptors. The TRD Pro tundra actually has less, no leather wrapped steering wheel, the suspension isn't FOX, dosent have rigid headlights, etc. So really the Tacoma PRO is the best PRO of the three parts and feature wise, as it should be it was the first one of the three when they released the BAJA which was the former pro in 2012.

Not everyone wants to get an sr5 and upgrade it. Some people want a turn key solution and there's nothing wrong with that. If you wanna upgrade an sr5, I'm sure the pro owners won't care. So why would you care so much about the Pro owners?

Not to mention resale value from a pro to an sr5 with 10k of upgrades. The pro is gonna win that argument every time.

Go price out wheels, tires (even though they aren't great) suspension, taillights, headlights, leather, shift knob, grill, fog lights, sliding window? And tell me how much money that cost. Then add it to a SR5 with tech and see where your retail price is at

Clearly you didn't read the conversation and felt the need to throw your 2 cents in before reading, I have no issues with those who want a turn key option, I love the pros, my dad has a raptor, and if I wanted a factory backed truck that I wasn't going to mod myself than sure, but the previous poster was trying to argue that you can't build a better sr5 for less which is very wrong and that the pro parts are supposedly better?.
