Seems to me the suspension on the Pro is nice. I bet TRD has it tuned superbly. TRD tuned the Baja suspension beautifully on the Gen2, now they upgraded to Fox on basically the same truck it's probably even better. I'd buy that TRD Pro suspension kit in a heartbeat and put it onto any 4WD Tacoma and be happy.

What is goofy is people that continually say aftermarket suspension is better never drove the TRD Baja suspension. I'm one of the few that drove the TRD Baja suspension and it was superb. TRD Pro should be even better, but once again only a few people will drive it so the commentary will be 'aftermarket is better'.

Holy ish, you paid 1200 for a warranty?! I would be begging for shit to break just to justify that kind of money on a warranty.

On a 6 year 125000 mile warranty that was originally $2400+, bumper to bumper, includes loaner car, etc from Toyota. Seeing that a rear diff, transmission, head gasket, plethora of other things could easily negate that cost if to go wrong, going into grad school, leaving the Air Force and on a NEW POWERTRAIN, I'd rather be safe than sorry. I implore you to read some horror story threads on repair bills in the 2nd gen forum. Differential alone on this truck is $1400, not saying it will go out, its like life insurance, may need it may not, but some get it based on life circumstances.

Is the 6 years after the 3 year warranty for 9 years or did you essentially pay $1200 for a 3 year warranty which totals 6 years?

Its 6 years from manufacture date so 6 years/125000 miles, the max is 8 years/125000 miles you can get through Toyota, since I drive 20000 miles a year, I didn't want to pay for the extra years I wasn't going to use since I'll be out of the mileage window.

Nahhh, the SR5 one looks cheap.

I'm not a big fan of the chrome one either, but I think the SR5 one looks like it came off of a Corolla or something.

Knowing Toyota, that is the case.

One would look fine on the bottom corner of the tailgate. But they look hideous on the doors.

At least the bedsides aren't stamped anymore  that was retarded.

I know the rubber and wheels on the Tacoma pro are nothing to brag about. I'm saying most people would leave it be until it's time for new rubber. All I'm basically saying is if someone wanted to turn there SR5 or TRD sport or OR into a Pro it's going to end up costing more than just buying a PRO upfront. Sure you can get better stuff aftermarket. But if you want a decent suspension, new wheels and rubber, and leather, black headlights, black tails lights, LED fog lights, and the Pro grill and shift knob it's going to end up costing a hell of a lot more.

Nice educated response. Still a build bud, full suspension, ucas, etc done by me and my buddy again proving you wrong. Just proving the fallacies in all your arguments and stupid assumptions and insults running your mouth. Troll? Really been here for a long time and owned all gens, if anyone is the troll it's you with the crap coming out your mouth.

Dude started attacking first after his argument fell through, I divulged and shouldn't have. My bad but agree. But also a lot of keyboard warriors here that talk out there a** and make assumptions about people and that really peeves me off especially when it's the wrong info especially with all the new members.

I think it'd look better in black and actually had an access cab option. Also different wheels more like the 4Runner Pro wheels

Yes it is a wrap. Was white. It is actually an 016 model outfitted with TRD Pro package. It was used in a commercial somewhere (although I haven't seen it ). It was in to get windows tinted. There is no part # yet for the factory package. There were lots of scratches down the sides over the wheel flares so it has definitely been driven. It also had California tags on it.
I think if you going to put a "pro" badge on it, they should beef up the engine / transmission. Not just a little suspension and cosmetics. That's just my opinion.

Agreed 100% black is always the best color for a top of the line model, just adds mystique to it, if i get one it till be the only vehicle ive bought that wasnt black.

Agree with the engine part atleast make a functional scoop or something power wise, it would be one thing if the 3.5 had power on its own like the 4.0 did but the 3.5 in a trd pro does sorta kill the vibe.
