Does anyone know if the PRO has a front diff drop on it and if the TRD PRO skid plate will accommodate this? I'm considering getting the skid plate but if I do end up doing a diff drop in the future when I do my lift I wanted to know if this would work with it. The PRO already has a lift on it from the factory I just don't know if they did a diff drop on it or not.

Very important question about the skid plate...does anybody KNOW if it will fit w/ a lift kit (BDS 6" w/ coil over)?

If anybody else is wondering, the tech at BDS said that this would fit over my 6" BDS w/ coil over lift (diff drop/drop bracket) WITH some "motivation". I will ask the shop how difficult it was and what they had to do to get it to fit once I get the truck back.

Where are you guys getting quotes for $500 USD? I'm in Canada and I ordered on for $400 CAD.

edit: note this was in reference to the grill, not the skid plate. Don't know what the skid plates are going for up here.

Just got my skid plate in today from local dealer ($350 +tax). It appears that one bolt was missing from the packaging. (One 12 mm bolt) - however everything looks in place.

Installing on a 2016 Sport. For those that have done the install, did you remove the factory thin skid or can this install over it? We're all bolts from the skid needed or were any of the factory bolts able to be used? Before I called the dealer or went to Lowes to get another 12 mm bolt I figured I'd ask.

The same thing happened to me you can either go to Lowe's or to the dealer and get a 12 mm bolt. You must take off the original skid plate. The new skid plate as spacers that have to go to the frame and because otherwise you limit your access to the oil filter through the filter access panel.

Just a heads up for anyone that has the Bullet Proof Fabricating Heavy Duty Recovery Tow hook. The 3/4" D-Ring will not clear the skid plate without some modification. The 1/2" D-Ring will fit but who knows how that would hold up. I gave the guys at BPF a heads up.

I just had one of my tech install this plate on a 2017 DCSB with our the revtek leveling kit we keep stocked.

We had to buy tube spacers for the bolts because of how he differential drop kit works.

That being said, different companies have different set ups for how they do the diff from what the tech said, you'll likely need metal tube spacers for an install with a diff dro
