You could but given the location you have the same issue you’ve got with decals. Water, dirt and grime, salt spray, etc will just pelt that area. I can’t see paint lasting long term.

Ultimately the red isn’t as awful as I had feared it would be and I’m sure someone will make posted replacements.

My gripe is I overspent my car mod budget to get the old plate. Had I known I would have just waited until I had all the cash in hand.

    Live and learn.

Lot's of medium/hard trails, plenty of rock sliding, great skid for most people here that wish to upgrade from splash guard. It is strong.

Not much, we always forget to take pictures, too busy wheeling and not flipping truck over lol... but here is the truck eating some mud, few other shots and poor quality video lol

Installed mine alone and it was troublesome haha. But it looks great and is way beefier than the stock skid.

I placed the skid plate on top of me and wiggled underneath the truck and used my legs and arms to press it up to bolt it up.

Thanks! It’s stock suspension, 16x8 +0 wheels and 265/75/16 duratracs. In this picture they had 1.25 spacers, but I took those off and sold them a while ago.

Nice, I'm waiting for my te37x to come in in -20 offset. Gonna rocking the stock suspension until I can afford new ones.

Has anyone managed to use the Sport Air Dam with TRD skid plate?

Why not? I’m kinda curious myself. It would probably just hide it.

I installed my skid today but uses a ryobi drill to tighten down the bolts, is it possible I over torqued them? I just tightened them until they were snug

The Torque Specs came with the Skid Plate. 33 Ft Lbs on the big ones and 21 Ft Lbs on the smaller bolts

Don’t worry about using a torque wrench on skid plate bolts. Make them good and tight and move on.
