I do not want to loose my Chin for the same reasons, plus looks like a pain in the arse to remove and re install skid plate with stock Yoko's and no ramps. How is the skid plate mod working out?
I may need to do the same.

Absolutely. You'll just need a few minutes with a Dremel to notch the air dam out around the front of the TRD skid plate. If a lot of your driving is on highways the dam is a good thing to have. If you're doing serious off road, not so much but it does come off or on in under ten minutes.

Bilstein 6112 front / 5100 rear (extended) shocks, Headstrong AAL, Firestone airbags, 4.88 gears, OME Carrier bearing drop kit, Aluminum 1/4" skids (engine to transfer). Custom sliders (1.75" HREW tube w/ 3/16" base plates). Custom front bumper and high clearance rear bumper (1/4" steel plate, 1.75" tube.) Apex 5500 winch w/synthetic line (36lbs) and required accessories for an underpowered winch (snatch blocks and extra line.) Tekonsha P3 brake controller, remote start, any-time-backup camera w/ front facing camera, Leer 100R shell (w/e-track single slot tie-down mounts for removable Yakima EasyTop.) Cat shields by CaliRaised. Husky liners, window tint, heated seat (passenger only.) Relentless bed rail brackets with QuickFists (shovel/axe/fire extinguisher.) Hondo Garage Un-holey vent mount. Anytime rear with front facing camera. Billet front seat risers. Viair 88p. 265/75r16 Goodyear Ultra-terrain tires.

Those fumoto valves just appear to be a risk/hazard in my opinion. What's the clearance between the bottom of the valve and the skid plate? The engine mounts allow the motor to move under torque and G forces and the aluminum skid plate can be bashed upwards during wheeling as it's a sacrificial plate... so unless it's >2" of clearance I personally wouldn't do it.

Working out fine. No issues at all changing oil. Sometimes I have to pull the oil filter out at just the right angle to get it through the hole but that's it..

There is 1.5 inches of clearance from the valve's OD to the openings ID. And an inch from the tip of the valve to the bottom of the skid plate. This is the F133N, with the long nipple. So if you have the short nipple version, you would have 1.5 inches of clearance all around.

I have had my Fumoto since 2009/10, and was on my Corolla then. In 2017, I totaled the car, yet the Fumoto still kept all that oil in.

Since then I transfered it to my Taco, when I changed over to the F133N, it went to my roommate's Corolla Cross. Still going strong after 24 years.
