Will more than likely need to find a solution.

My rear was sagging like crazy earlier in the year when I loaded all my gear up (before bumper & sliders)

I'm guessing around 350-400 lbs total of gear on the back

You can go with the half inch spacer up front and then throw a 3 leaf AAL on the back and toss the overload spring. Ive been running the AAL on the Stock pro Shocks without any issues for 30-40k miles on and off road. Rides like a Cadillac... an old shitty creaking Cadillac... the 3 leaf AAL actually improved the ride a fair bit.

I had a full steel bumper and warn winch on my 2019 pro and just added a 1/4" top plate spacer to the front. Got the height back, no change in ride quality at all and I beat the crap out of the suspension and with no ill effects to the shocks.

I'm honestly pretty jealous OP got hit then paid out enough for a new front bumper. One can only hope that happens to me...

Here is current stance with a Westcott Designs lift on the stock suspension. This is a full steel front bumper with winch (synthetic line) Full steel rear bumper (high clearance) a full set of TRD Pro wheels in the bed, full steel skids, and steel sliders. The tires are pizza cutter 33s.

    Is that a block/spacer lift?

Yes-ish. It is a 1" block in the rear, a small (I want to say 1/4") top plate spacer, and a modification to the spring perch on the strut itself (pre-loads the spring like a coilover). If I was still doing heavy off-roading with this truck I probably wouldn't have gone this route but now that this truck is just responsible for getting me and my Samurai to and from base camp (and the occasional impromptu quick night run) it was the right lift for the price. There is absolutely zero difference in ride quality on road but I have not had a chance to get it off road yet. It is only a 1" ish lift as well so other than getting height back from bumpers/skids/sliders it doesn't do a whole lot.

Just lower the back and you’ll be fine.

    Or

Go the route I went and gut the OE Fox and replace it with Fox 2.5’s with resis and adjusters, Total Chaos UCA’s, 650# 14” coils, Dakar heavy leaf pack, Timbren bumps with unbolt flip kit. Then sell the OE Fox. Depending on the mileage you’ll get a good bit for it. Also, don’t hesitate to ship it. You can box it in the box your new suspension comes in then ship it for about $100 and let the buyer pay for it or spit it, your choice.

Hrmm interesting. I have a similar issue on my rear. Even with the factory rake there is so much constantly loaded in the rear I need something to correct the height. My headlights point slightly up and I'm not actually ready for a full suspension lift.

It shouldn’t look like that with only 300-400 lbs, the weight. I could understand if you’re loading 600-800 lbs.

Just my two cents, but I agree to sell your suspension and get (your choice) Kings and a proper AAL or A full leaf pack setup.

For example. I added A heavy duty OME leaf pack with some fox 2.5s, but the heavy duty leafs jacked my rear so high up (I don’t carry weight often) that I REMOVED a leaf and now it functions as a Mediun duty OME leaf pack. Even still, it only begins to sag when I load two 300 lb dirt bikes. For reference I run sliders and a full size 285/70/17 in the stock spare location. Here’s an old pic (ome medium duty, fox shocks and springs to about 2-2.5 in front) before I added a front bumper. (Front bumper brought the front down maybe 1/4 an inch. I never took measurements because I’m lazy bones)

That being said, your truck looks awesome and you’ve put a lot into it BUT I Say do it right/amend this issue and throw some proper suspension on it!!!!.....maybe some bigger tires too:anonymous:

i put a 3/4 in front spacer on my pro, raised it 1 1/2 in. no change in ride. but since i live in a salt belt this happened... so i have a set of fox 2.5 0-3, to be installed next week..

Yeah, we can’t wait for your post about your saggy front drawers.

Good luck getting it back up, OP.

Probably going to go that route sooner than later since the OEM FOX will be worth more before more miles are added.

How do you like that ladder for the bikes? I'm looking for a better one since I'm planning on taking my Italians to the track.

Overall it's only around 180 lbs for the bumper and winch. The money isn't really the issue. I'm making up for it for not having modded a vehicle in the last 10 years while I built my business lol.

Just drive it like that until you need new shocks, then go Billy 6112’s (or equivalent) with 700# 13” coil. Don’t change just yet...been there

Truck looks pretty good. Like a little tonka army truck

the ready ramp does well, although now that I have a short bed it hangs a few inches off the bed, which kind of takes away from its tidiness. The one I have was purchased in 2007. I had two “long bed” 2nd gen Tacoma’s since 2007 used mostly for track days. Don’t know if they did any improvements on the ramps but I’d look into if they fit short beds well. Mine does not (if your OCD) about it.

There are no current options AFAIK for the OEM TRD Fox shocks. Eibach was working on something but you know - COVID and all.
