I recently purchased brand new OEM TRD Pro taillights and after washing the car I noticed it’s trapping moisture and water along the edges. It’s happening to both the left and right taillight. Is this ok or should I try to get them replaced due to being defective? Thanks.

Fogging when temperature changes is normal. Water droplets are not going to evaporate out and the housings need to be replaced.

It's on the outside of the seals, in the seam where the housing and lens come together. Maybe more noticeable because of the clear lenses. You could pull them back out and fill the seam with RTV if it bugs you. Many, many taillights on other vehicles are the same way.

That’s the outer channel, not the inside of the lights. Normal.

I bought it online from Sheehy Toyota Of Fredericksburg for Black Friday. Paid $207 for the pair.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I will reach out to the dealer since the taillights are covered by warranty. If not I’ll dry it out as much as possible and try to seal the edges better.

As others have said, that looks like the outer channel and not moisture on the inside of the lights. From what I can tell, that's not an issue - That's normal.

My OEM Pro tail lights have done the exact same thing since day one, and especially when I wash the truck (with my pressure washer).
