I'm still waiting to hear back from Wheeler's regarding my problem - I guess they close on the weekends. In the mean time, I'm brainstorming solutions. Assuming that the springs are not going to settle an inch or more, I can either remove them and go back to stock or I can lift the front.

So, for those of you who have installed the Toytec 1" spring seat spacer (http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com...A-and-Pro-Edition-Tacoma-4Runners_p_1065.html), were you able to get away with stock upper control arms, or did you have trouble getting it aligned?

I have the 1" ToyTec coil seat spacer with stock UCA, and have no issues with alignment.

I also installed the single ToyTec AAL to prevent the squat-look because I have a BakFlip G2 tonneau cover.

Unscrew your OEM antenna and just chop off a few inches. Replace the ball on top and call it good.

It was tough drilling those holes. The old lady was freaking out. But I like it and it came out great.

Drilling the holes was easy on mine. Getting the uppermost nut on the stud took several mother-effers though.

Right. My arm was tired, my back was sore, dropped the washer and nut - I don't know how many times and after another beer, I finally got it.

Here's some pics of the exhaust cross-over relocation. Not the neatest welds, but I'm happy with it. The crossover is now just under the trailing edge of my transfer case skid plate. Also, the interior drone associated with the TRD exhaust has been dramatically reduced. I read another post somewhere that claimed this benefit, and I can confirm. It really did quiet things down inside the cab. No idea how or why, but I'll take it. Sounds the same outside. I'm going to coat everything but the muffler from cats to outlet with POR-15 high temp coating and then add two 1-foot bolt-on heat shields where the driver's side pipe bends 90-degrees to go past and around the transfer case and actuator. I won't be driving more than a couple of miles until this is finished, but there's at least 3-4 inches between the pipe and actuator - and that's the part I'm most worried about.

Here's some before and after shots going from factory spec to the new 265/75/16s and the Wheeler's helper springs. It's settled a little since yesterday, but I still think it's too high, and certainly more that the advertised 1.5 inches. I'm going to wait to hear from Wheeler's and give it some time to settle more before making any changes. If it stays this high out back I think I'll just add the Baja-specific 1" front spring seat spacers from Toytec and another 1" rear brake line bracket spacer and call it done for awhile.

    After

Finally, I power washed and coated the frame with Fluid Film for winter. My tip - if it's windy, do this BEFORE washing the truck.

Question, are extended brake lines necessary if I swap out the rear leaf packs for some AllPro Standards with my existing 2012 TX Baja Bilstein shocks (5160's)?

If so, which ones would you recommend?

I'm either considering the AllPro 24" or ToyTec 23"; if they are even necessary, at all. Any others?

I was told the rule of thumb for extended lines in the back is if your going 3" or higher. Of course if your right under that it wouldn't hurt to do it as well. ......hope this helps

I found a great deal on some AllPro Standards so I trying to see what other additional costs I need to consider. So, which extended brake lines are good to go with, or like @JuanitoBunito stated, not necessary because the leaf packs only give 2-3" of lift?

When I flexed out the OME Dakar all the way, the brake lines are getting tugged a bit too much for my liking. So I'm going to get extended brake lines for sure. I don't know about the Allpro packs, but I think they'll be the same. I need at least another 2" of line extension to be comfortable.

Soooo where is the pussy magnet located on a 13' TX pro DC? I've been told it's bolted on to the flux capacitor but no dice.
