No sweat man....there is a small write up with a couple good tips. I'll find it and forward it to you. You'll love it. But remember....I don't tow or haul anything. However, guys have used the progressive aal for those purposes and not have issues.

I don't really tow either. My normal load is about 150 lbs of dogs in the bed plus another 150 lbs of gear maybe. Nothing crazy, I just don't want crazy bro lean if I put a camper shell on and have 200-300 lbs in the bed.

You should be just fine as far as the rear goes. Now for the "bro lean"...I'm assuming you men the infamous "taco lean". If that's the case, that is a front coilover issue stemming from the drivers side. Factory Toyota setups (including our Baja/Pros) take into affect the driver and fuel tank weight. Aftermarket lifts don't, so the truck ends up leaning 1/4" downward on the drivers side. Then the 1/4 little spacer is needed just on that one side to compensate......you won't have this problem with your coilovers.

    It seams to
To get into the 1.5" lift ballpark with a progressive AAL you need to remove the factory overload leaf, an that's what does it. You can keep the overload in, but then you'll get more than 2"-2.5". The decrease in capacity varies by manufacturer and they rarely provide a concrete specification. Even calling the distributors results in subjective answers. Again, nothing wrong with this option, but I didn't want to lose any carrying capacity considering 25 bags of wet mulch had it bouncing off the stops with the stock setup.

My experience echoes @JuanitoBunito as well. Super happy with the Icon progressive AAL I put on a few weeks ago. Gives me just a slight rake with my shell. Don't expect your wife to notice a difference though. Mine is just glad I'm happy.

Long term plans also include the 1" spacer, and when I do I'll add the overload back in.

Does anyone know what the Baja rear shock part number is? Mine are totally rusty, and it's only a matter of time until the remote reservoir line fittings fail. I would like to price them online before bending over at the dealership. Once I get new ones, they will get a bath in fluid film before and after installation.

Not sure what the part number is....but look for the "trd pro" one as Toyota covered the hose with a rubber jacket for added protection. Or better yet, I've been told that the trd pro rear fox shocks with resis that they put on the 16's and up will fit 2nd gens . Hope this helps. One of these 2 is the direction I'm going when mine finally go.

I've heard that the clear tubing is only over the braided line, and that it actually holds water. Never seen one, so can't confirm this. Mine are rusty everywhere - the shock body, and reservoir tank, and the fittings. I think the Pro Billstein's share the same parts, so corrosion protection will still be necessary. The newer Pro Fox shocks should fit, but the valving will be different.

The pro rear shocks I've seen on 15's have had black rubber over the braided line. I honestly couldn't see how it could hold water but I guess anything is possible. I sprayed mine with FF from the get go so I hopefully still have plenty of time. As far as the valving on the new ones .... yeah that's something I didn't think of but I'm not too worried about it. I'm sure it won't affect the ride too much.

I went with Firestone airbags for the first few years, but the ride quality eventually deteriorated to the point that I couldn't stand it in any more. Ended up replacing them with Wheeler's 8 leaf progressive leaf pack and superbumps. Truck rides better now than it ever has in off-road terrain, it is slightly stiffer on road, but I am not complaining.

Here's my thread on the swap: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/wheelers-8-leaf-pack-on-2013-baja.473080/
