Looks like Wheelers 3 leaf add a leaf with the factory overload removed like it should be setup. I have them on my 2013 Tacoma BAJA as well.

    Another fill up!?!
Wow 10k is a haul! We decided to avoid a lot of Moab due to the extreme heat forecasted and went high elavation to stay cool. I was amazed at the amount of snow in June along the Alpine Pass loop, trails were all good except for a rock slide closing lower engineers pass trail.

What are the stock leaf springs for a second gen Baja? Are they just the tbs springs? Higher? Anyone can show me a pic? Thanks!

Thanks @oni06 !! That means my overload leaf was removed and some kind of 1.5 AAL from Socal Supertrucks. Will be replacing with more progressive and stout alcans soon!!

    Yes with the AAL

I ordered the heavys but headstrong and ARB are both out of stock and ARB doesn't expect more until September so it cost me +25 over what the heavys cost s normally.

To me it's worth not having to wait.

You'll love them. I have the older Dakars (the equivalent of the new heavy duty) with the AAL and an overload removed. I put them on right before my road trip and they made for an excellent ride. I have a lot of weight in the back which is why I went for the extra spring.

2.75 with a little overload, might not need them. Have seen some people still have slack at full flex, or install a spacer at the brake line bracket. But never a horrible idea!

Your shocks will determine your droop most likely.

Anyone else swap out their 5160's for regular 5100's on their BAJA?

I had the driver side 5160 blow out and the dealer replaced it under extended warranty (common sense would tell you to replace both sides but not the dealer). My 2013 only has 35k miles on it. So I ended up buying two new regular 5100's for the rear and installing my newer set of leafsprings with Wheelers 3 leaf add a leafs and put my Firestone ride rite airbags with daystar cradles back on. My truck now sits 1.5" over stock height in the rear (with just the leafsprings, not the airbags). Sold both 5160's to another member for $225 shipped. I'll get longer shocks when I get a full 3"lift kit down the road.

If you've replaced your rear shocks what did you change them to?

Last picture was right before swapping shocks.
