From Chicago? That’s awesome. The scenery there is second to none. Grab one of the lodges for the night and it’s a fantastic time.

Yeah just a little outside of the city and all it’s madness. Definitely make it a 3/4 day trip.

Been slacking on getting a side shot, been a bit hectic and finally got in 100 miles on the setup.

Front is lower than I’d like, but will let the rear wheelers 8 leaf pack settle in and then re adjust the front. The initial drive home was pretty rough with the 650# setup, but after today, it softened up and I personally like the ride. It’s definitely a more firm ride overall compared the stock pro setup.

I hope the rear end doesnt settle much. The front definitely needs to come up atleast an inch.

Then I’ll be throwing some 285/70/17’s or even possibly 295/70/17 in March :taco:

It’ll settle a little but not much....especially if you don’t weigh the bed down. You may need a CMC with 295’s...pending on your bs on those wheels.

Oh yea, definitely would need to do some cutting. I figured as is with 285’s on these current wheels may need it. At this point, I’m fine with doing a cab mount chop and some minor fender liner trimming.

With my current wheels I had to do very minor trimming to some plastic. When I first got this truck I had my Konigs 18x9 on 295’s. I thought they’d never fit without a CMC.....but they did and on the stock Baja/Pro lift. I couldn’t explain it. Especially since my last build had the same wheels on a 3” lift and it needed a ton of cutting with the CMC.

Wow that’s interesting lol. The next setup is 17x8.5 -10... Just debating on 285 vs 295 really. I was planning on doing the cmc by January or even February to prep for the new wheels, but I may just wait.. Rather not cut it if I dont need too, plus that’d just be some added cost to weld in new plates.

My Ray-10’s are 17x8.5 with a -10 offset too. The backspacing is 4.30”. So our wheels may be the same which will be great for you because you’ll know where you stand. Check to see what your backspacing is....also....I’d do 285’s. Cheaper, lighter, and look basically just as wide.

Oh yea! Those ray10’s are the same size spec that I’ll be going with. 295’s are on those aswell right? Would you mind taking a picture down the side? Interested to see where they’ll sit past the fender.

It was mentioned it would be around 4.5” of BS, but it isn’t confirmed until the wheel is made.

When I sold my Konigs I sold them with the 295’s. I put 285’s on my current wheels. I took that pic for another member, I got this one but let me check my phone. ......look at the rear wheel. I love where they sit. Personally, I’d rather have 4.5 to have them out just a hair further.
