plastidip is like spraypaint, but a rubber coating.
I was going to powdercoat mine but wanted to see the look first before committing to the black and paying $200+.

2 cans of plastidip was like $10 lol

If I were gonna change to the color, I’d powder them (for durability) plastic dipping is easy and painless.

I did it while back ago. Shoot, I wanna say 1 can got the job done. But its $5/can. Bought two to be safe.

    I believe I did 4 or 5 coats.
“mist” the 1st layers so its transparent, then layer gradually.

I have a LT on one of my JKU's.
I would not mind putting one on my 17 TRDdclb but I just don't want to change out the fenders . Looks good on yours and others, just not my deal.

I had to run mine without them for a week or so because one of the wheels was machined wrong and the fake locks wouldn’t go on. I love the all black but I guess I’m just a purist at heart... :annoyed:

I liked them as is, but I never realized there was a small dent in one of my rings which I’d assume came from the dealer. It was a bit more hidden when I had them dipped black.
But, needless to say those wheels are gone now though haha

    Nothing noteworthy
This. I derped mine white 9 months ago and they are due for a re-do cuz they are jacked up. Derp is easy to take off and re-apply. But taking off those rings.... That and the time it takes but what the hell.

    Haha yes!
Second time around when I had to redo them, I told myself I would not be re dipping them. Just the process of removing those damn things got annoying.
