I don’t really keep exact track......but if I did, I bet I’ve been in that range for some time

I posted back in the summer about buying a Tacoma Pro suspension and it ended up coming off of a 4Runner Pro. Anyway, after installing the front coil/shocks I only got a 1/2” lift. I am wanting about 2” total. Will any Tacoma coil spring work or does it have to be specifically a Tacoma Pro coil spring since the shocks are bigger diameter? What coil would you recommend for a total of 2-2.25” of lift? 2013 Sport 4x4 DCSB

    Thanks

I want to say that the 4Runner pro suspension is a little different from the Tacoma pro suspension........but I could be wrong. The pro/Baja suspension should yield a 1.75” front lift.

Yes but the 4Runner spring rate is lower yielding just about 1/2” of lift. I’m wondering what spring will fit this bigger shock? Will any Tacoma spring fit or will it need to be a bigger diameter spring to accommodate the bigger diameter shock?

My guess is it will need to be bigger. What ever the equivalent is from bilstein....6112’s I believe should work. I also believe they are 600# or 650# springs

How much lift will both those rates give me on a 2013 DCSB Sport?

1.75”......then if you want a little more you can then add 1/2” top plate spacer. I’m at 2.25 in front and 1.5 in back

Is that the 600# spring or 650#?

Will spring rate give lift, or is it the length of the coil and adjustment of the coil over assembly?

I thought it was spring rate but I may be wrong.
