Anyone else have this happen? 33k miles on the truck. Not sure how long it's been broken but I noticed it yesterday when I went to install 1/4 top plate spacers.
Good thing I found it because my 3 yrs comp warranty is up in August. Not sure if Toyota will replace just the spring or the entire coilover.
Anyone have any warranty work done on their Pro/Baja suspension parts yet?

When my taco was stock I had the drivers side rear shock (billy by-pass thing) leak. From the looks, it was in decent condition, but they replaced the whole unit. I think it might be dependent on the rarity of the parts, but I think they would likely replace the whole coil for ya.

"Rarity of the parts" is what I'm curious about...what parts are available since we've already seen the complete kits get bought up. No matter what gets done, I'll want the the same done for the other side.

Well worst case, they might have to outsource a part...but hell TRD shocks are just rebranded billy shocks with a premium sticker price. I would contact your local service rep and see what they say. My guess is they will take care of you one way or the other.

Worst case, I'll get Baja coilovers and have a Baja-Pro...or would it be a Pro Baja?

I always regarded my jank is a Baja-pro, but could go either way. I thought you currently had Baja coils or do you mean going for some aftermarket coils like kings?

I have the stock pro coils which I believe are slightly different than the Baja in terms of spring rates. I'd be willing to try the Baja coil if the dealer can't get the Pro coils

Im not sure if you are comparing the 2012-2014 (Baja era) to the Pro era? That could be the case with slightly different spring rates, but I bet they are similar. The ones on yours look identical to my old ones anyway.

    Baja had 650 lbs coils
    PRO had 600 lbs coils.

Ah interesting...so they got softer for the pros? I guess the 650 pound springs were made for the full out "Baja" effect!

Apparently my softer springs can't handle speed bumps at the mall

I’ve heard people have some rubbing issues, I’m wondering exactly what that’s from? I have icons with 700 king springs and total chaos UCAs with my caster set at 3.4* and I’m not even close to rubbing on my ARB. 285/75/16 terra grapplers.

Love that bumper. It’s badass. I couldn’t pass up the deal I got on my ARB though... almost half the cost of the pelfrey aluminum I wanted. Truck will look good
