Too each his own. I specifically sought out a used 15 Pro knowing full well what I was getting for the price. Worth every penny to me and the extra cost will still hold through in the resale, though I don't see myself ever selling. For me it was the best of both worlds between a sport and OR. The OR is a plain and boring looking truck to upgrade IMO. I'm not a hardcore wheeler so I'm okay with the pro suspension for now. I wanted a badass looking truck that I could focus on performance mods with the supercharger. I get a lot of compliments on my Pro.

If you’re just talking suspension, yeah the Pro isn’t worth the extra cash. But if you also value the wheels, exhaust, shifter, scoop, grill, blackout badges, etc. and want it all covered under warranty, then it adds up to being worth it.

I mean from browsing the 3rd gen forums, seems like that grill and skewp are all anyone wants on a Tacoma anyway amiright?

    I wouldn't know. I don't go into the 3rd gen forum unless its a mistake :D

Skewp just makes it harder to see over the hood off road.
The wheels on the baja are cool.
I like the Pro grill but could never bring myself to buy it. Though I might buy the caliraised knock off at some point.
Debadge FTW .. haven't done it yet though.

The only thing I really disliked is the fact that a big selling point is the upgraded suspension package but Toyota just said eff the rear springs. I severely underestimated the bro lean until I tried hooking up a 2600 lb trailer.

I’ve turned my Baja into a hybrid of sorts but it still retains enough of the stock character. The wheels and exhaust are gone. I put a Pro grill on it. The suspension is still there...cuz I love it actually.... I’ve focused all my attention towards performance with it.....but hey!...I’ve kept the Baja stickers!!

Same here. Icon AAL with overload. It's held up surprisingly well towing a 19 ft travel trailer.

I never put the over load in, but I don’t tow anything either. I hear a lot of great things about the RXT’s which is good to hear there is a great alternative waiting for when the stocks crap out....

I got the Baja because my gf didn't want me modifying the Sport that I had since I was still paying off the loan. One day I was going to look up some accessories on Toyota's website and saw the Baja for the first time on the home page, I had to have it. The dealership here and on the islands overall couldn't order the Baja since we're treated as an after-thought. I contacted about a dozen dealerships in CA to see if they had a black DCSB Baja, then inquired if they could ship it to this island. Only one was willing and able. Got her approval. Pulled the trigger, sold my Sport, then my dream came true. Had fun with it since I got it. There's only one other Baja on this island, same configuration, and mine still came out cheaper than his even after the shipping costs on mine. I paid it off about 3 years earlier than my loan agreement and she said I can do anything I want to it since I officially own it. I've matured, so I don't have the same mindset as I once was being trigger happy when I found this forum.

On another note, I unfortunately was unable to get my RXT's installed as I hoped. Not sure if I'll even be able to this coming week, but hopefully by the following week.

Hey gents (specifically @Island Cruiser and @JuanitoBunito) - about those bump stop extensions I asked about earlier. If you're wheelin, you probably need some bump stop extensions to prevent your suspension from cycling too far. Been doing some research on here. In an effort to loop others into the fold...

I have this post followed up with another post immediately after that with a question out to @ARCHIVE. Just passing it along, hoping it helps save others from damaging their stuff.

    EDIT:
Here is an option: ...but I like the idea of raising the bump stop, not lowering the bump stop striking surface by attaching a block to the frame. But if you're gonna attach a block to your frame, that's a nice looking block to do it with.

I’d definitely agree you’d need these or something like it if your gonna wheel and these definitely do look like what you need.

GF has to much power. That much power is reserved for WIFE status not GF status.
