@Tonk 2014 hope Toyota helps with labor!

Stuffed the suspension today, everything is looking good. Now it’s time to get some spring hangers and a shock relocation kit for more travel!

Ok. Been a while since I've been on this thread and I've been reading about the Icon Rxts. Why those over Dakars? I just bought Dakars for the rear and now I'm wondering what I missed.

Edit: Dobinson MRRs going up front for 3" lift with 750lb springs to handle the ARB and winch.

    Thoughts?

Some say Dakar’s sqeek.....mine did dut it didn’t bother me. Dakar’s are a bit stiff. They raise you 2.75”. The RXT’s you can determine your height and I’m told are not as stiff. Overall you absolutely won’t go wrong with either one....

I personally will not be carrying a lot of weight constantly in the back so I opted for the RXT's. Also, I intend to upgrade to Icon's in the near future and prefer to keep it in the same family

Been awhile since I've been on here. I'm going to be ordering adjustable Bilstein's and want to retain the factory red BAJA spring. I'd like to get 3" lift (2.5" minimum) I have a Demello winch bumper (winch coming soon) on my 2013 BAJA dcsb. Anyone running Bilsteins with the BAJA red springs and winch bumper? Pictures, lift, which notch di you set for what amount of lift? Not sure if I'm sticking with 265/75/16 or moving up to 285's.

Let us know what tire size you go with and if you had to do a cmc. I'm looking at the same conundrum.

You could always just get the Toytec 1” spring seat spacer made specifically for our coilovers...This would raise you to 2.75”......Done

I'm just going to replace the shocks, my truck has 54k miles on it and I'll be installing SPC upper control arms and new tires at the same time. I've thought about the spacer, I need more lift to compensate for the bumper and winch.

Could just get some sway away coils...cheaper than the big three, adjustable, and red?

Or you could just rock the color you get. I have Dobinsons front suspension and my coils are turquoise... turquoise. Gonna roll with it.

Honestly I agree as all my suspension is blue, but figured he wanted to stay red with retaining the stock red springs.

Yep, if I can save money by not buying new springs and spend that on other parts than I'd like to do that. Anyone know what the spring rate is for the Baja's red springs?

MR59-50221 Dobinsons fully adjustable Monotube remote reservoir shocks. Front end for my 2014 taco. 750lb springs. Mike is on here and he spec'd them for my ARB front and winch. I'll get ya some pics shortly. My 265 BFGs are almost done, so it's almost time for the lift.

Hey guys....just posting back with an update on my 2012 Baja dcsb. My vibrations I have are from my rear driveshaft (propellor shaft). Part number 37100-04343. Apparently Toyota has updated this part 3 times since the original release date of the 2012s. Hopefully getting the rear shaft within the week and will install it this coming weekend (time and weather permitting).

One question I have is if the 650lb coils will carry an ARB bumper w/o a winch?
