This. Every car in my signature was a fly and drive or had it shipped. Your location is awesome with no rust. In fact I just picked up my Z from Phoenix. Your truck is so rare you need to sell it to an enthusiast who will appreciate it for what it is.

    Hi guys
Sooo I bought a 2014 tacoma baja edition AC auto a few weeks back I have been trying to read this entire thread but am barely at page 40.

I love my truck this is my first personal tacoma and it exceeds all expectations.

    I have done several cosmetic mods but what I need help with is;

Suspenison. I want to keep the BAJA suspension but want the truck a little more off the ground

I got the TOYTEC 1" baja spacer for the front my question here is once installed how much higher will the front be then the rear being that the rear is the stock BAJA

Then if the 1" spacer for the front raises it too much what can i do to the back to higher it a bit?

Thanks in advance for the help.

So, if you're wanting a more 'level' look, you'll need to buy an AAL or add a leaf to your leaf packs. Not a hard job. Wheelers has them for about 200 bucks. Dont get hung up on brand and the ride is still very compliant. CrashNBurn has a great thread on here about this suspension he added to his OR. The 3 leaf progressive AAL would be a good idea for that camper you're wearing. I ran the AAL with my hard shell and loved the ride.

Good looking rig. Welcome to TW.

Toytec spacer works well. As others suggest get an add a leaf.

I personally skipped the add a leaf route and did the full Dakar leaf pack.

Agreed, 3 leaf AAL will do the trick. I took my overload spring out when I did it, but with your topper you’ll probably want to leave in and it should be about perfect.

Beautiful truck by the way, welcome!

Nice truck man. So the toytec spacer will lift you to 2.75” in front. I think you’ll like it, it isn’t too high and won’t mess with the ride quality. If you did not like it, you could add 1/4” top plate directly to the top of the strut for a 1/2” lift instead. That will get you to 2.25” in front.
For the rear id add a progressive aal. Wheelers or Icon, I have one on my rear and love it.
My set up is 2.25” in front and 1.5” in the back. I still have a little rake.
    Hope this helps!!

That topper is a perfect match for the Barcelona red Baja. Do you know what it is?

You could always get an aal in the rear. I have the wheelers aal on my 13 baja. Love your truck, maybe because mine is so similar...

Ya, except you have those crazy awesome color match wheels! Don't think that'd work on my super white

I have aal on my otherwise stock 14 Baja and I dislike how the front dips when braking moderately. It could be because I kept the overloads on though

I would not suggest that. I’ve had 4 Tacoma’s all lifted different ways.....2.75 will be sufficient for your needs. Also, once you reach the 3” mark you’ll need new UCA’s. The toytec spacer leaves you .25 below that so that’s nice.

Wheelers or Icon for the progressive AAL. If you are gonna do the toytec 1” spacer in front......leave the overload spring in the rear. This will give you a bit of a rake.
