Bolt on with the option to weld. They also don't require drilling any holes in the frame, although I did have to open the holes in the sliders just slightly to make the bolt go through easier. The two bolts closest to the front were not easy to get on. I had my fiance help since she has skinny arms.

Towards the end of the month I'm going to order a matching 5th wheel for a spare, and I'm thinking about upsizing all my tires at the same time. I know that 265/75/16 will fit without issue, but I wonder if 255/85/16 would fit okay with the Pro lift up front, I'm not too worried about the rear. I may take some measurements and see what I can find out. I've already ditched the mudflaps, so those won't be a problem.

That would look cool. I went with solid black with grey the grey TRD emblem on the fronts.....I can take a pic of it if you want.

The fronts will rub unless you do some chopping. I wouldn't go higher than the 265/75/R16 without adding more lift as well. You are not going to have a lot of clearance in your front fenders. I'm running the 265/75R16 equivalent (265/70R17) and am pretty happy with the way it is setup and it looks proportional. If anything if could use just a touch more lift in the front. Try to avoid the heavy E-tires in your new tire purchase.

There seem to be plenty of people running them with 0-3" of lift with no issues towards the end of this thread. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/255-85-r16-owners-experience.155849/ People that were experiencing issues were having problems with the mudflaps, which have been gone on mine since the first week. Occasionally the guys with no lift are having to trim a little bit of plastic inside the wheel well. With the ~2" of lift the Pro has I don't think it will be an issue. The variable I don't have the definitive answer to is what the width and backspacing is on the Baja/Pro wheels. I'm going to flex out the suspension and turn the wheel back and forth and measure to see how close it is. I've always liked low COG and tall/skinny tires anyways, so if I can do it without losing any articulation and minimal/no clearancing, then I'm good with it. We'll see where it goes.

I think after some minor trimming and no mud flaps...you'll be ok
