Extremely! I looked all over the country for mine and had to fly and drive it back. This guy shows up as a work truck!

My beloved Baja was murdered by a 17 year old in a Dodge Ram. He caused a 4 car accident and spun out of control and went right into my driver's side wheel... R.I.P. girl. Got her stock and took her through nearly 24 states wheeling and camping. Who knew she'd meet her demise coming back from my 6 year old nephews birthday party.20210813_202020.jpg

So I had to replace her with something comparable. Forced me to go to the dark side. Found a good deal on a 2019 Pro.

Sorry to hear about the unfortunate accident. Glad you’re okay though.
I had a 18 Pro and loved the interior and electronics, but just couldn’t get pass the 3.5
The Ovtune helped and it was a 6 speed manual

I've heard the KDMax tune does wonders for it. Remaps the transmission and motor. Spoke to a guy yesterday about it, so I'm looking into it now. I haven't wheeled it yet obviously, but honestly it seems responsive, so we shall see.

Yeah, I’ve heard KDMax is the way to go now. You should be satisfied from what I’ve read on it.
I wish Toyota would put a small V8 or turbo 6 in the next generation. Sales would’ve crazy!

Yes do the Kdmax tune you will not be disappointed. I had mine updated from version 2 I believe to the Kdmax a week ago and right away I can tell it is way better than the last tune. I'm holding off my actual review until I get some more miles on the tune but it is totally worth it for the money.

What immediate differences have you noticed with the tune? I've heard it gives the truck more power and better gas mileage. The latter is enough for me to want it. Also, which version of tune did you do? The regular or one of the other two. I heard there's three variances of it.

I originally had the 2.0 tune and it was better than stock. More power and the gear hunting wasn't as bad. The throttle response was better as well. Last week I stepped up to the Kdmax tune and it is even better than the 2.0 tune. There is definitely more power than the 2.0 tune and it feels a lot smoother with the power delivery and the shifting. You can choose light, normal or extreme throttle and I went with the normal. I'm getting used to stepping on the gas and it actually goes with out hesitation but it is way more aggressive than stock so you have to ease into it more. I haven't taken it in the mountains yet so don't know about that but the 2.0 tune made a big difference in the mountains. Milage wise I try to wait atleast 500 miles so the computer can learn my driving style before I look at that but I did notice on my normal drive to work the other morning I was at 17.3 which is up about 1.5 from where it was before. Now that could have been a fluke and that is mostly highway miles so take that with a grain of salt. All in all it was the best mod I have done so far. I would 100% recommend it. Oh and before I got the 2.0 tune I would drive with ECT on and in sport mode all the time. I tried it with the 2.0 tune after a 500 mile learning period but it wasn't really needed. I haven't even tried using ECT yet with the Kdmax tune and honestly not sure it's needed. I hope that helps

You won't be disappointed and you will have to let me know what you think after a few days of driving. Just remember there is a learning period for the computer and will just get smoother the more you drive it.

Sucks man but glad it worked out for you and you are ok. Those third gens have been catching my eye too from time to time. That new lime green Pro is calling my name!

I like the lime green too! Kinda proud of old conservative Toyota going for it this time.
