I bet. How do frames hold up over there, is it rare to find a 1st gen with a clean frame?

Definitely not as bad as living in the Salt Belt from what I’ve seen. It can be ugly if neglected of course. Pretty rare to see a 1st Gen with a clean frame. Even more rare to see one that hasn’t been molested lol

I'm considering swapping out the Baja suspension with 3rd gen TRD Pro Fox…

Is there info anywhere on how the two compare measurement wise? I am only running 32" tires, but I do have a ~300lb wedge camper and the Dobinson heavy (112) leaf springs in the rear, so I think I would need to do the Westcott Designs 1.5" lift up front to remain level-ish.

Second question for the rear FOX shocks (even though this is the Baja thread) - are they extended travel? Currently the Baja rear shocks are limiting my down travel by about 2" with the new Dobinsons leaf springs.

I have this exact setup, With the wescott designs front lift. I initially took off the Baja suspension with a 1/2” top plate and addded the top plate to the fox pro coil overs. I then deleted the 1/2” top plate and did the wescott kit.
In the back I have an icon rxt leaf pack. I had it at option 1 then changed to to option 2 when I did the wescott in front.
Back when I initially did the fox pro kit with the above mentioned 1/2” top plate, I ended up exactly at the same height I was at with the Baja suspension and the same top plate. With switching to the wescott kit, I went up to approximately 2 & 3/4” up front. From 2 & 1/4”. Since I went up with the wescott kit is why I went to option2 on the rxt kit which put me at 1 & 3/4” to 2” in back

As far as travel, not too sure. I believe it’s a standard travel rear shock like the rest.
I can say that they feel and ride awesome.

Awesome. Sounds like it’s going to work for me up front. Just need to research a bit more on the rear to make sure I won’t rip the Fox shocks apart if I flex out on a speed bump.

Yeah that part I can’t help ya with. I’m sure you’ll be ok unless you really over do it. I’d definitely do extended brake lines.

I had these numbers saved on my phone but can’t recall the source. I want to say it’s the collapsed-extended lengths.

Started installing the pelfreybilt hidden mount this weekend. I figured while I was at it I should install the derale trans cooler that has been sitting in the garage for 2 years lol. I still need to make a bulkhead spacer out of aluminum so ignore the washer for now :bananadead:

Nice and simple. Still unsure if I should throw the license plate back on or not?

Looks good Gio. You forgot your grille. :p
I don't run front plates on my nice cars, but since you already have the holes, I figure you might as well. One less chance to get pulled over?

Thank you! Very true, it's one less reason to get pulled over lol. I don't have one on my s2000 but I don't drive that as much. The grill is off waiting for the trans cooler setup to get installed today. I painted them black last night, but here was the final fitment.
