There was a red Baja in the "Because Baja" thread that stuffed 285s on stock wheels. He was fine until he went offroading then had to do some trimming and a half. I think it varies between each truck like how others have mentioned. Trial and error, I suppose? Shit I'd love me some KO2 285s

I'm thinking about the general grabbers 285/75/16.

Very very true. For those who've successfully pulled off 285s with little to no trimming should provide the type of offroading they do. It would help the rest of us get an idea.

Thats a whole other animal....stuffing those 285's will work but, yeah if you plan on doing any significant offroading your most likely gonna rub when your suspension flexes. I'm sure if you don't go too crazy it'l be fine....maybe a little rubbing here and there but nothing too crazy. Thats is the boat I'm in now. I don't rub...but i haven't gone offroading either. If and when I do, ill rub the cab mount. A cab mount is in my future for more clearance.

Anyone know the perfect matching flat black spray paint that has the same look to the blacked out Pro badges?

Looking at painting one of these badges that I got from an awesome member here. I know I can use the black one, but I want that flat black smooth look. As you can see its textured out.

Looks like the piece is textured so you may need to sand a bit to get it smooth. As to the Black, I would guess the black on my Pro is more of a "Satin Black" not really a Flat Black. Some brands of paint make a Satin which is flatter looking than even semi-gloss, but still has a tad bit of shine or depth to it.

    Thanks for the advised.

At what grit would you recommend?

I didn't even think about sanding it. I was hoping just prime it first then paint it in hopes of the textured getting covered and having that flat look to it haha.

I'd recommend putting sandpaper on a piece of glass or flat board to keep from rounding it over, and move the piece across the sandpaper to smooth it out. Start with 120, and work up to 400ish and you should be smooth enough. I painted my sliders with Krylon Satin Black and it matched perfectly. I am not at home, but when I get there if I remember I'll get a picture of the can for you.

What do you guys think about the bronze TRD bead lock on an Inferno Pro? The black looks nice but I've always been a fan of the bronze or that gray one. Toyota should've given us the option on which color bead lock we wanted. Plus my other half can get a discount for it :D

I think it would look cool!!! There was a thread that had a red 16 with gold wheels.....different...but kinda the same. If I can find the pic I'll send it your way. Maybe itl kinda show you what it will look like.

I think the grey would look good, not sure about the bronze, but I'd like to see it done. I liked mine a lot more once I took the beadlock rings off. The 33" KM2s help too.

So I took a look at the spray paint I used on my sliders that matched the emblems, and it isn't Krylon like I thought. It came from Wal-mart.

Thanks guys. If I can get a better price on it locally then what I see online I might jump on it. Plus I got a person in line that wants the black one from my Pro. Just waiting on my other half on how much is it with her employee discount.

Thanks. I'll go check out Walmart.

Not sure about an Inferno, but I saw them on a Barcelona Red Taco and they looked real nice. Almost swapped my neighbor for the Grey ones off of his 14 Baja, but never got around to trying one on the truck and he sold it for a Dodge Diesel so that option is out.

I'd love to see these on an Inferno. I was thinking the same thing, these should compliment the color of the Inferno Red Pros. Do it!
