Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
Alright guys heres the deal. I have almost 10k on my truck, and the clutch is slipping.

It drives nice but under full load when its making power under boost the stock clutch lets go and it slips. It started around 7k.

    I supercharged at about 3k.

Basically toyota said they have to take my truck apart and if they decide its not warranty then I am liable for labor etc. I don't really want to take a 600 dollar gamble on a dealer techs personal opinion on the matter. I know this isn't my fault but im stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I called toyota corporate and they said well we are sorry but its the dealers decision. They recommended talking to the technician. I am going to do that to see exactly what he thinks since it is ultimately his decision or opinion on if its covered under warranty.

However I am going to upgrade anyway. Toyota says the flywheel is non serviceable so I must replace that as well.

I was considering the spec clutches. But they cost more. So now I am thinking the URD Stage 3. It seems to have good reviews.
The part I am considering is the flywheel, I tow frequently and I am concerned that the light flywheel will affect performance negatively. Does anyone tow and have the light flywheel? What do you think of it?

Has anyone had the stock flywheel resurfaced? How does it work after? The concern is the stock pedal has no adjustment so if they turn the flywheel the pedal feels different.

I am pissed that this clutch is failing at less than 10k miles. I drive at least 30k a year in manual vehicles, and have always driven them. I wanted to choke the costumer service guy who was a dick and basically just said fuck you, its got to be your fault.

Would it be hard to swap the text at the bottom "toyota racing development" for "supercharged" depending on scaling etc I think it might be a good look.

Agreed. That was one of the reasons why I took mine off. Maybe we could get a TRD Baja sticker made along the same lines as the TRD Pro one above?

Problem with that TX badge and a die cutter is all of the little holes in the lettering. How big is it on the bedside?

    Not at all!

I remember it being rather tall. I was talking about modifying the TRD Pro stickers you posted by replacing the "Pro" with "Baja" so that the sticker reads TRD Baja.

That would be a lie, since its not TRD Baja!

But it would look better! I love the baja and the pro

It's a lie because the TX isn't included? I think the TX is what confuses people and I personally don't care for it. I am just looking for a streamlined sticker that doesn't necessarily have to include the TX.

And I agree...I am loving my Baja and the Pros as well.

I love my Pro, but I did like my Baja suspension more. Pro is a little softer.

And the Baja, being the best of the TX series but still a TX series, which means like the TX plus, TX pro, and TX Baja it was a package that was added. (People still don't even understand there is a difference between the TX Pro and the TRD Pro) being that the TX pro offers nothing performance wise. The TX Baja was the first real deal upgrade over stock.

The TRD Pro is a package or model offered as part of the lineup. Like TRD offroad, TRD sport.

Basically the TX line, in the way I see it was the test bed before TRD brand was applied.

Not that the Baja was any less, just different in ways that really don't matter. I am fairly particular or OCD with certain things haha so I am only poking fun.

As much as I love my truck I do wish I would have the 2012 Baja I originally turned down back in 2012.

I like the side Baja graphics too for some fucked up reason. I wonder if a similar styled graphic could be made that would look good on the inferno color.

This picture is a red truck, found it on Google with the bronze wheels. I adjusted the saturation and its really close to my inferno. Actually in most of my pictures its the same.

Granted the inferno is hard to picture being a pearl orange close to red2015-10-28 10.00.08.jpg Screenshot_2015-10-28-09-57-41.jpg 20150820_145204.jpg 20150719_134058.jpg in the first place

I like that sticker. I might have to add stickers to my truck after all!

My TX does have a flashy red TRD badge on it though!

I almost wonder what would happen if I just carefully cut the star out of the TX
