Hot dang. It's looking more and more likely that I need a Tundra to tow with and this just tempts me to see what trade in offers I could get on a pre ordered Tundra. Just hate the 4 doors. Do they even make a 2 door Tudra that can tow, and not be a basic package truck?

Actually did a contact dealer on this one. If they'll give me $35000 for my truck (LOL), payments would be the same or less than what I've been paying on my Taco. I don't think they're that desperate but if they are this may happen

Dealerships contacting me this morning about bringing my truck in for assessment. No way I get 3$5 or even 30k offer. Rear drivers side taillight lense busted, not lights. Wrinkle on rear drivers quarter panel. Backed into tree on trail. Tail gate latchndoesnt work. Missing 2 of 3 plastic bed rail caps.

Any guesses at trade in? One dealer is emailing me. Other wants me to come in

95k miles. King adjustable coilovers. Lots of goodies that won't make a trade in price difference

My dad has been offered $25k trade in for his 2015 Tacoma 4x4 sr5 with 120k miles

PART OUT? Let me know. I can swing by and we can just start swapping things, like the Baja suspension I have.

I just sent pics of truck over to dealer for trade-in quote. It all depends on them and the money they offer. I did mention to them some of the extra parts on the vehicle like King adjustable Coilovers and bumper and whatnot. If they offer in the $30's it's all theirs. But if they low ball me in the $20's I'm likely keeping it, list it for private with all parts. But will keep thread updated.

This first trade-in quote is with the dealer that has the 2020 Tundra I posted about. Rather get it than the newer 2022 tbh. Still waiting on a reply back from dealer with the 2022's

Thanks for the add to this thread. I’ve had my 2015 Inferno TRD Pro for about a month now. Just went and got a camper shell this week. Can’t wait to get it painted and add a roof rack. Think I’m gonna have to AAL though. I’m looking at the All Pro and ICON kits. Which would y’all choose?

I think they are pretty much the same. With a shell and the added weight I’d do a progressive aal if you are going that route. In that case, I’d look at icon or wheelers progressive aal. You may also consider doing it right from the start and just replace the springs. Icon rxt, Dakar are 2 I’d look at but there are a couple more as well.

A progressive AAL would be best if you go down that route. If you can, go for a full leaf pack. RXT is the best offering for the price point, or Deaver if you are going for more weight.

Hoping the 2020 Tundra TRD access cab, 6.5ft (short) bed comes through. Get that 5.7 V8 over the 3.5L Turbo in the new 2022's. Then I can throw a supercharger on that 5.7!

Well the dealership the 2020 is at is out of the window. Can't list it as Baja Edition or Supercharged?!?! Hard pass

My used car sales manager said he would be looking to give you $24,000 for your Tacoma. He said said there is absolutely no insult to you, but when we resell it we can not list that it is supercharged and we can not list that it is a Baja Edition, so it will show up as a Tacoma Base. Please reach out with any questions and I am happy to help!
