I absolutely love my 6 speed manual!! I have driven several new automatic tacomas and they just felt more sluggish to me when compared to my manual. No offense to those who have automatics by any means. There are complaints about the manuals as well. I had to wait longer for the manual but it was completely worth it.

Stump jumper....looks better in my opinion with white letters in like you have them. Like you, I had the dealer do the same thing to my black baja before I ever brought it home cuz I cant stand them either. But, each to their own, guess that's why tire companies make one side rwl and the other not. I'm just thankful I can hide the ugly things.:D

2002 Jeep overland after 180k miles needed $5000 transmission rebuilt, so I replace it with 2015 Tacoma TRD pro w/ towing package, so the truck has transmission oil cooler and engine oil cooler from factory.
I was amazed as how easy/uneventful passed through the mud pit (in L4 and atrac on) and clearance seems to be better than overland.
except it seems that the skid plate in the middle does not cover the exhaust pipe under the middle of the truck.
Also, the 2014 Baja I was trying to get had steel braided hose on the rear shocks reservoir but 2015 TRD pro has normal rubber hose.

Yep....they all got Nav and the Auto Dimming Mirrors, and the Blinker Type outside mirrors....things Toyota added after the fact and didn't list on the sheet.

Anyone had a reason to find out if there is a TPS in the spare on the Pros? Seems they put them in most tacos, but with Toyota cheaping out and running a P rated spare on the Pro's the TPS would be going off all the time from the spare if they had one (at least it seems like it would be).

Going up Tuesday to pick up my Snug Top XTR Shell and Bed Rug. Seems like everything with this Pro has been a waiting game. The Mfg. tried 3 different suppliers for the Inferno Paint and didn't like the results so finally ordered paint directly from Toyota. Mine is the first shell that Snug Top has made in the Inferno color. Arrived at the dealer yesterday and he says it looks good but won't know for sure until I bring my truck up. As it is about a 400 mi round trip I had to wait a bit to go up there.

Check the hose, yes it is black and rubber coated, but not simply a normal rubber hose. Really stiff, almost feels like a metal tube covered with rubber.

If the Pro is like the Baja I do not think they recalibrated the TPMS for 46 PSI. On one of my free rotations the idiots at the dealer aired mine down to normal pressure and not the 46 that is called for on my supplemental door sticker. TPMS light did not come on. Tires just looked a little low to me so I checked. Sure enough 29 and 32 PSI. I was pissed when I had to get the compressor out and air up all 4. You would think that if there was 46 lbs in the tires and they were tires on a truck that you were not use to dealing with that you might check the door tag.

Those would be the new BFG T/A KO2's, not sure about the sliders.

Lol, those are not sliders...... They are AMP research automatic running boards. They do look like sliders though

I thought they might be automatic fold down running boards, wasn't sure because I looking on my phone screen. Those might just get damaged if you wheel your truck, just saying. LOL

They work great. They are actually more functional than conventional running boards because when they are down they stick out a little farther, but look good when not in use.
They are a little pricey but imo worth it.
