You do lose a little flood lighting, but the spot pattern works great! Your definitely not wrong as you will see improvement with the Flush style mounting. It's just not as blocked off as people think it is. I have customers that say they can spot deer they would have never seen on back roads with the Stealth which is pretty awesome!

first off these look great. but does it not effect the cooling for the transmission blocking that spot for the fogs?

I live in NM and it gets pretty hot here. I have not noticed any issues with engine or trans temps at all. The cooling system n the Tacoma is very robust and works awesome. If you are super charged, tuned running tons of boost and going crazy, it might have an effect. But for the 99% this will not cause any problems.

    TRD Pro owners:

Looking to see if any of you TRD Pro owners are interested in selling your rear 5160 shocks that are possibly sitting in your garage after some upgrades.

I'm in the market for a set for my truck.

PM me with your price. Prefer locals but will consider paying for shipping depending on the price.

    Thanks
    Andy

First Toyota with both systems simultaneously installed. :1up::cheers: LeitnerDesigns Active Cargo System & Prinsu Studio Design Rack System. Now to put these bad boys to some good use. Great trips ahead this year. The Baja is a continued process, but definitely a progressive build

Anyone switch to a load range C tire from the factory load range D? I'm looking at getting a 265/75/16 DuraTrac in a C rating because they don't offer them in D's, most tires are E's with limited C's in this size.

What were the differences in handling, towing/ hauling, etc...???

Not sure how big a difference going from D to C would be. I went from stock P rated on my 02 Tundra to C rated which was stiffer etc. Last set of tires I went back to P rated as the BFG's were $1200 for the AT's and only $700 for the Rugged Terrains (not the POS Rugged Trail OEM stuff). Much nicer ride, a bit mushier on the twisties, but overall, way more comfortable. Been seriously considering putting the 8 plys from my Taco Pro on the Tundra and buying P rated 265/75's for the Taco Pro...the 8 plys on the Pro are way to stiff even at 35psi.

Wheelers Progressive AAL, Firestone RideRite airbags.
I never understood why the Tx + all came with such high load tires over the OEM.

Im still strongly considering the 4RTRP wheels for my next set of tire/wheel combo

The KOs were not available in anything lighter in the OEM size.

Ok guys I have another question for yea, when you had your tires replaced did you remove the rock rings first or leave them on? I don't want them to get damaged but I'd rather not remove them if I don't have to.

Here's the replacement tires I bought, 265/75/16 Goodyear Duratrac load C, I didn't want E's, I'm not driving a 1 ton fullsize. It's a little taller them stock. I got the one tire that was shipped from the Ohio warehouse, just waiting on the other four to come from California. That's right, I buy five matching tires, not just the four. I drive a Yota, not a heep. LOL

    Good call on going Cs.

I just took my truck to Toyota to have them do the install and let them deal with the rings. Negotiated the rate to match the local tire shop.

I'm definitely looking forward to pics with the new tires mounted! I could be wrong but because the "bead lock" rims are not real bead locks, they would not need to be removed to unmount/mount tires...somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Well if they use the pry bar on them I'm thinking it'll damage them.
