Hey guys, its nice to see a thread on our trucks. I have done a few mods to mine but no four wheeling out west here. just field and ditch banging here. Not to up to date on posting pics but learning how to. You guys have some awesome looking trucks here. Look foward to hearing from you.

If you mean smoother when you say softer - then I agree. BFG AT's help a lot too.

I'm not running any additional lift in the front... just the Baja kit. No spacers. IMO the AAL was perfect and brought the rear of the truck right where it should be.

Yes, the pic you linked is with the AAL installed.

Good to hear. I do think AAL is the way to go.

Agreed. Thanks for the info! I've got a canopy on order and with the extra weight of that I think they will be a must.

Compared to my Tundra on either its stock bilsteins or the ICON rebuilt Donahoe coilovers that replaced the stock ones, the Baja is smoother on and off road.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
The PRO has slightly different valving, and a softer spring rate in the front.

Otherwise the suspension is the same.

I am running a 3/4 poly spacer in the Baja coil up front and a 2" leaf in the back

I love it. Haven't had a single issue in 20k miles so far.

Did you buy it as it sits or did you debadge it and add the topper? Looks good. My next purchase will be a topper, hate my bak cover

Hey guys, So after taking my truck off roading and going through some mud puddles my truck was covered in mud.. Looked pretty good! Anyways, the next day I took my truck to the car wash and sprayed it all down. I washed it twice and cleaned it very well.

Since, my rear leafs have been squeaky.. I have no modifications to the rear. Is this something the dealer should fix? I think it is crap that after one time off roading and getting her dirty the rear springs are squeaky.

I know there is some remedies to fix squeaky rear leafs, but with my truck having only 500 miles without any modifications is this something that the dealer should fix under warranty?

That is normal. Without anti squeak pads in the springs leaves squeak. You can grease the leaves or use some spray of your choice but its something you will have to do periodically.

I doubt it will be fixed under warranty since its not a problem its just annoying.

Thanks man. I figured I would have to take care of it. I just think it's shitty that after some mud, a car wash, and 500 miles I have to service them.

I don't remember where but it was a reliable source when I read it.

The part number is different. Only by a digit or 2, but so far the tacoma pro setups is not on market. Baja is still out there. My guess is that the pro stuff will replace the baja for replacement s.

The '15 pro comes "debadged" as you see. No stickers like the rest of the TRDs. Just black Tacoma and TRD PRO badges.

What do you hate about the BAK cover? I was considering that but finally settled on a Snugtop which is on order now.

Yea it sucks. When I put my leaves together I used white lithium it lasted quite awhile but they squeak again. It doesn't really bother me so I don't do much about it.
Someone sells nylon pads that can be installed as a permanent lube basically. One of my trucks has them in the aftermarket springs and they work on it.

I count the leaves as expendables since I am hard on them. I have broken 2 in the Tacoma. Broken a few in other trucks too. All from abuse and overuse. That said the Taco has piss poor leaves stock.

I would like to know how official this thread is.

Is it officially sanctioned by Toyota?

Nice trucks, BTW. But this one is just plain gaudy... too much sticky shite.

There are none of these models in Canada. :(
