A few cosmetic things as mentioned above that the 15 PRO has over the 12-14 BAJA. Grill, color matched mirrors with signal, smoked head lights, the PRO has black badges and no stickers while the BAJA has a specific decal on the body and a red trd badge on the tail gate. The suspensions are basically the same except the BAJA is said to have a tad stiffer spring rate of 650 I believe.

In 2013, the large decal was only on select Baja's. Mine didn't have it, so none of the little kids said my truck was cool..:pout:

Yeah, my 14 didn't have it......it has the "TX" one on the rear of the bed where the usual "TRD" is which I'm fine with but not that huge bedside one......no offense to anyone that has that one on thier BAJA, but I woulda ripped that shit right off mine. :crapstorm:

I love my Baja, and all the kiddos line up for autographs due to my bedside decals!!

Honestly tho, I only like the decals on black. On red and white it's just too much.

The 13 and 15 pro are basically the same truck, just some minor cosmetic differences.

Hey Dan, after re-reading your question....first, welcome to Tacoma World. Important, non too important more just personal preference. The biggest one being the very slight difference in the spring rates of the 2 suspensions. The PRO is said to be a tad softer while the BAJA is a bit stiffer.

....I can agree with the big BAJA decal on the black body.

    Thanks for all the responses.

How about front skid plate? Is that a 2017 thing or do they all have that? And should I care?

Also, what does the tow package include?

    Thanks.

Factory skids are included, TRD aluminum skid plate is an option. They're all garbage, spend a couple hundred and get a real one.

Tow package ups the towing capacity to 6500lbs, adds a tranny and oil cooler, class V hitch, 7 pin trailer plug, pre-wired for a trailer brake controller, and supposedly some sway control built into the electronics. My Pro has the tow package, but it was also an option.

They also changed the rear shocks on the Pros because there were problems with the hose between the shock body and reservoir rusting on some of the Bajas. Not a huge deal, and hasn't happened to all of them, but worth taking a quick look at when you're buying.
