Yes. For starters, an LS swap.

For what I've done to mine thus far, it sounds great. Too loud probably for some I suppose. I'm contemplating headers next which should make it sound even more aggressive.

I don't actually. Never really thought of doing one. My truck now sounds like a much crisper, louder, better, version of the TRD exhaust. Then throw in then S/C whine your familiar with.

Until you get your camera out and show us how it sounds, we'll all have to assume it sounds like a Dodge Neon with a fart can on the back. :boink:

J/k man I bet it sounds sick. But would love to hear it if you get the chance.

Too loud. Not digging the whole thing. Would rather have regular sounding exhaust.

Bought a 2012 TX Baja a few months ago. Installed the 1" ToyTec coil seat spacer and a single ToyTec AAL to fit in the 285/75R16's. Some rubbing in the front wheel well. Any ideas on how to cut or remove the plastic pieces that are rubbing?

A bit on the front at full turn, and once in a while on the back where the front mudguards usually are (removed mudguards).

My concern is if I cut the parts that are rubbing, the rest of it will flap around or that mud/dirt will get in to areas that they shouldn't.

Remove your mud flaps. I had to cut a very minor amount of the front lower part of the plastic in the wheel well. Don't worry about anything flapping around with the wind, you won't have to cut that much at all. It will seem really loose and flimsy when your done but it will be fine. I wouldn't be concerned with mud either....it can washed away if it gets up there. You can use a box cutter if you have nothing else. I used a saws-all with a fine tooth metal blade.....it just made it easier to control and zip through the plastic.

    Thanks, Juan.

Removal of the mudflaps were one of the first things I did when I got the Baja. LOL. However, I did have to buy some RokBlokz for the rear because Hawaii state law requires them (rears only), and the stock ones did not cover the tire that sticks out a bit beyond the OEM mudflaps.

I guess I'll just take a boxcutter/utility knife to the parts that are touching. :sawzall:

Yeah, it won't be that much plastic you'll have to cut at all in the well.....you'll see. Someone else mentioned about you guys in HI. and how they have cracked down a bunch with vehicle laws such as the tires not sticking out passed the fender.

Oahu. Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3's. RokBlokz are good. With 285's no need for oversize, just regular. I even went with the short kine. passed recon! LOL!

Oh mean! Yeah I bought the standard flaps too, no nonsense. I heard that only 1 Baja got sent to Oahu which was the Barcelona Red, you must be the lucky one? Lol

Car fax report says the one previous owner had it all this time. Practically babied it. Older gentlemen traded it in for a Porsche. Now I'm just having fun with it.
