TRD Pro Updates coming soon from Toyota? (Updated)

Well I mean, I would think even the majority of off roaders likely don't do deep water crossings. My guess is it will be a TRD offered part - similar to shift knobs and CAI's.

 

I'm sure it's just a new color and a bunch of "factory (port) installed accessories"

 

That snorkel looks like it sticks up above the roofline even further than the Safari Snorkel -- seems like a bad plan.

 

Maybe it's fake like the hood scoop ?

Same. Rigids in previous pro had two bulbs. Just depends on what angle you catch it at whether you can see the two bulbs or not. Seem to be enhanced in this promo pic also...

I think we'd have better luck getting a turbo. Turbo and rear discs and I may not take delivery of my 18 OR though!

 

I just think it's hilarious that they may be advertising a stupid snorkel addition or option, but can't have 4 wheel disk like the fucking Yaris has.

 

The only thing better than wheeling a Taco is going underwater with it!!!

 

I wonder if this pro will be a desert runner version to compete with the ranger raptor, instead of the crawler it is now. The snorkel is probably more for desert sand/dust than water.

 

Now that everyone has a faux pro grill from China let's bug them for a faux snorkel with stick on letters.

 

Not in the same category but look at the FRS. They keep the same dog engine in it, but keep adding lipstick accessories to it so the fan boys and girls stay interested.
