TRD Pro V2 Grill for 3rd Gen

Are there any of the new TRD Pro V2 grills out that that do NOT have the raptor lights built in?

I've had a BPF grill since I bought my truck. Even printed a mount to install the Anytime Camera. I never wanted to have the TRD Pro grill that everyone seems to have, because I wanted something that was more unique.


I am now having to rethink that. I like the new 2024 grill. Even possibly love it with the built in light bar. There are some real promising ones out there aftermarket for the 3rd gen. They all have extra lights on them that aren't the 2024 version.

I've never been a fan of the Raptor Lights, because I want nothing to do with looking like a Ford. I don't need extra turn signals built into the grill with the mirror lights already out there. I don't really want a lower end lightbar to come with it and have Raptor Lights built in.

Give me a bare 4th Gen looking grill with no other add-ons and let me make it mine if I want to.

 

I was looking for one without the Raptor Lights as well but could not find any. I ended up purchasing the V2 grill with the light bar. I currently have it installed and it looks good. I am working on a way to try and either remove the raptor lights or maybe just black them out so they blend in.

 

This is my grill , it has the places for lights if you decided that you wanted to add them later on .

 

IMO: Raptor lights have become a wannabe cliché. They are on everything now. I've seen them on Kia's and Subaru Foresters. They mean something on an F150. I put a Pro grille on my truck as tribute/nostaliga touch and to make it a little unique. No desire to look like a Pro fake. I've never cared for the strange "circle-t puzzle" emblem. "It contains every letter in the word 'Toyota'..." whoop-de-doo. If they say so. Who cares?

If the only thing available to me had been a Pro grille with raptor lights, I'd just remove them or leave them disconnected.

That grill seems sweet though. Curious to see if pics of one on a 3rd gen without the lights pops up

Yotaverse now sells "blocks" to replace the raptor lights for the v2 grill

That's a good find. Didn't see this option previously.

It looks like they either had enough call for one without the lights, or someone was desperate to have the grill and made their own. These are just 3-D printed blocks. You can see the seams on the print still. It's the closest I've seen though!

 

There is a post (#9) that may solve your problem.

 

You can probably print your own at a much lower costs. I wished they offered the blocks when I ordered my grill, at the time I think the raptor lights looked better then having 3 empty slots

 

They look good on your rig... Also I blacked mine out and didn't connect them...

 

I installed mine using the supplied black out blocks from YotaVerse because I too was not a fan of the raptor lights. I do wish they just made a grille without the holes for the raptor lights.
