TRD Pro vs. BAMF Grill

I can't decide between the BAMF grill insert or the '17 TRD Pro insert for my 2017 Sport in BBP. What are your thoughts? Anyone have picks of their truck with either grill, especially in blue? I have seen a couple of BBP's with the Pro grill and it looks great, but the more I look at pics for the BAMF, the more I like it. I'm considering the BAMF with BBP back plate.

The Pro is ok if it was up to me I would go Pro everyday over the BAMF. That BAMF grill looks like a cheap POS with its exposed screws like someone built it in the home depot parking lot

 

Not in blue, but I like the Pro grille.

 

BAMF looks incredibly tacky, but with solid quality materials.

TRD PRO looks great. Very clean design, but with plastic junk materials.

 

But what do you REALLY think?

The whole front end of the truck is "plastic junk material", same as all the stock grilles.

 

I can assure you that BAMF doesn't make anything you could consider a POS. Go ahead and stick with your plastic crap.

 

I like the BAMF. I like the Pro also. Op, you asked for thoughts and pictures. But just get the one you like most. It's your truck. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

 

It's a grille, not armor. The whole front end of the truck is plastic. It's a non-functional purely cosmetic mod.

 

Sure they do, POS doesnt have to mean its build quality. it looks like total ass. Just cause its made of metal doesnt take away any of it looking like a POS

 

I don't like either of them. Both look over done and a bit tacky. I like the simple flat black mesh ones that I see with small TOYOTA lettering on them.

 

If I didn't buy the TRD Pro grille, one of the options at dbcustomz.com would have been my choice over BAMF.

 

Pro grill was my pick.

 

It looks great on the silver truck with the silver Toyota lettering.

 

Do people with the BAMF grills still have the issue of the grill having surface rust where the screws meet the grill? I've seen some pics where after the grill gets wet, it drips rust colored stains.

 

OP, Its entirely a cosmetic mod so its entirely up to your preference. I ordered a BAMF because I think it looks more rugged and I like that industrial look
