I'm not really a fan of either, but I do not like how far the Pro sticks out.

I've had both, first the BAMF and now the TRD Pro. BAMF's grill had better construction, it's more solid and IMO looks better. I only sold mine because I liked that the Pro grill isn't recessed.

Honestly I think the pro grill is more flimsy than the stock OR,sport,SR grills. Even with all the clips unbroken mine can be moved back and forth a couple millimeters. Just my $.02. Both are good grills but I don't think they're both built to the same level of quality.

As a guy with a TRD PRO, I suggest getting the BAMF. One less person with my grill. :brianr:

First choice is Pro followed by the BAMF economy grill. I don't care for the BAMF recessed grill at all. Looking straight on it looks good, from any angle or the side it just looks bad to me. The lines just don't blend well.
Of all the colors the BAMF's look best Blazing Blue Pearl. The Pro looks great on any color.

Pro if you're on a budget.

how can you compare stock plastic to quality engineering ?

The original BAMF ( not economy grille ) wins by a landslide. *donald trump voice*

I'm biased but I prefer the BAMF. The pro grill sticks out too far.

Pro for me...I don't want to mess with metal with the inevitable rust / weld issues in the future (lots of salt here), and reading through the BAMF forum here, many of the responses from the builder annoyed me lol. Each to their own.

Does no one else feel weird buying a trim and then adding features from a higher trim? Or is that just me :rain:

Wow not much love for the BAMF. Jerry is a really nice guy. I much prefer supporting a local guy than a huge corporation. Although I guess I did when I bought the truck.

Given almost 130 page thread about the PRO Parts, that every SR owner and sport/limited/OR owner is putting every single PRO part on, I imagine it might be you

Ha! not saying everyone has this idiotic mentality but there is a lot of this:

"Fuck the TRD PRO what a waste of money with such shit parts, overpriced plastic, I'd never buy that shit cause I could do it better for $67,524 cheaper" *proceeds to pay Toyota for those "overpriced" parts*

$350US with 3 broken tabs not worth it for me. Here is Canada, we have a local dealer selling them new for 425CAD though sold out at the moment
