Agreed but whatever that hit, no forged wheel would have survived

Usually inexpensive and quality don't go together. Hence why Rays, HREs, Volks...etc, etc are all pricey.

Usually, yes. But when you seek out VINTAGE quality wheels, there are deals to be had.
PM me if you have further questions or interest, as we've already thread jacked this one enough

You don't have to get forged to have adequately strong wheels. Flow formed is where it's at. Not that much more than casting, but much stronger. (as long as you don't screw up the annealing by powder coating too hot/too many times, Like I have before!)

Thanks for the info but he's running 285. Hopefully my 275 don't rub too much

BJ Baldwin runs Methods on his personal tundra and his competition truck with no issues. I guarantee he’s doing crazier shit than anyone in here with his trucks.

LOL OP. this is the very reason i never go on Tacoma world anymore. you will probably rub at full choke with 275. CMC and you should be fine. Stick to an a/t tire cuz its skinnier. M/T would be a tad bit wider and you will rub.

Totally agree buddy. Ask a simple question but people have to get off topic and become expert in wheels quality. Thanks for your help.

OP - many people run methods in here and love them. My neighbor has some on his GX. For the money, they're a good buy. depending on the offset you'll likely have some plastic to trim but not too bad. I say go for it. Worst case scenario, find a good fab shop and do the CMC for $100 or so.
