I’m in a heated negotiation with the dealership over a 19’ TRD Pro. They’ve given me a lot of leeway included final price, trade-in agreement & given me the predator side steps to seal the deal. My question should I make one last demand and get them to put the new TRD (2020) pro rim on?

is this a reasonable request? The 19’ rims didn’t used to bother me but when compared to the 2020 they look terrible (in my opinion). I feel like they have budged a lot already and me requesting the wheel swap might get them to tell me to gtfo!

    lemme know what you think!

    Canada Eh!
The worst that will happen is they’ll say no. They’ll never can a deal.

Ou that means they'd have 2019 pro rims for sale in the parts department. I think it's possible for them to budge, not likely but go for it, see what happens

Good luck. Seeing the 2020s are early in their release, dealer isnt gonna have 2020 Pro Wheels just sitting around in inventory and they wont swap parts from a truck on the the lot so your basically asking them for another $600-1000 off the price. Couldnt hurt to ask but I wouldnt hold your breath.

If you do a search there are Threads on here with the 2020 Pro Wheel and Center Cap Part Numbers, they are pretty reasonably priced too.

I don’t see them doing it, but I don’t blame you for trying. Those 2020 Pro wheels do look a lot better imo

Ask em. I’m the opposite, the new rims don’t do it for me. They ain’t horrible but I wouldn’t pay for them givin the choice.

Try this: Tell them you will sign paperwork today for the ‘19 Pro IF they will order you a set of 2020 Pro wheels, center caps and black lug nuts through their parts department. Wheels are just under $200 apiece and a full set of center caps is around $60.

The 4Runner Pro Sema wheel is better looking then both those. I think you might have better luck requesting that

I would wait for someone to just post them on the buy, sell, trade because you know someone will buy a pro and eventually part it out
