Thanks! The pic that was in my profile was prelift. I just updated it to post lift. Tires are 265/70/17 Fulken Wildpeak AT3.

Before - Stock suspension. Had rubbing on that little flap on the from side of the front wheel wells. Removed those things.

After - Bilstein 5100 shocks, OME 885s coils, JBA UCAs, Headstrong AAL, SPC shims 2.5 degree. Rear sits a little higher then I wanted but it hasn't settled yet.

That is exactly the look I am going for. Nice. Did you try to run the lift without the UCAs?

I've heard you can, but I run my truck pretty hard once a year, for a week, on some high desert trails in the middle of nowhere. Wanted to get some quality UCAs and not chance it. I'd consider what you do with your truck and then do some research on the setup that best suits your needs.

Thanks for answering these questions. I am new to a lot of this stuff and trying to figure it out.

What size AAL did you use? Whas it deaver, OME...? Where do the SPC shims go and why did you need them?

Do you run 885s in the front and rear or just the front?

885 springs are only for the front. The rear has leaf springs.

Needed shims due to the lift changing the angle of my rear axle and thereby causing vibrations in the 60-70mph range. That was my particular issue. Some trucks don't have that issue. What I learned during this whole install process and trying to figure out my vibration issues is that every truck acts a little different. You could have two identical trucks (make, model, and year) with the same lift and they will behave a little differently after install.

Another thing you should consider if lifting your truck is having this installed. It cleared up vibrations I had in the 30-40mph range. It seems the majority of people who lifted their trucks needed this installed to fix vibrations at lower speeds.

So I guess you install the lift and see how it runs. This keeps getting more expensive! Did you do the work yourself or did you take it to a shop?

I'll list out everything I have installed. The optional portions may or may not be needed to fix vibration issues. I originally planned to install this with a friend who is more experienced, but he ended up moving so I had a shop install.

OME 885 Coils - Front end (Kit order from Headstrong Offroad)
Bilstein 5100 Shocks - Front end (Kit order from Headstrong Offroad)
Headstrong 1.5" AAL - Rear end (Kit order from Headstrong Offroad)
Bilstein 5100 Shocks - Rear end (Kit order from Headstrong Offroad)
    JBA UCAs - Front end
ECGS Clamshell Bushing w/ removal tool - Front end (Optional, but recommended)
SPC 2.5 Degree Shims - Rear end (Optional)
OME Carrier Bearing Spacer - Middle (Optional)

    In case anyone was curious...
TRD Gun Metal wheels with 255/80r17 Toyo ATIII.
Bilstein 6112/5160 at 2.5" of lift. Rubs a bit but CMC will fix it.

Other pic for comparison (stock wheels painted black) with 265/75/16 KO2 Tires

I painted it with a few coats of plasti-dip spray.

I was thinking about doing the same thing. You have more pics of it?

Did you plasti dip the grill too?

How long ago? Holding up well?

It been about 6 months for this truck. My previous tacoma had the grill, wheels and bumper plasti-dipped for 50k miles and I had no issues.

I hung the truck on the rear bumper several times which scraped off some paint but I just wiped off the dirt and hit the spot with some fresh paint. Blended right in!
the trick is to use multiple coats and serious clean the surface the 1st time you paint. IMG_20210603_141841682.jpg

Umm suggestion to @N minus 1 why not use white plastidip? That way it kinda matches your truck?

I have a silver Tacoma and when I bought it, I plastidiped my rear bumper and grill in a silver color. Didn’t look 100% but still decent

the pictures are with the platidiped bumper and grill. I have painted them since.

Do you have pics of the paint job? Curious how you prepped the bumper and what paint, primer, top coat you used?

I wasn't a fan of the color matched bumpers, was looking for more contrast. Probably will paint the grill with actual paint and not plasti dip one day but the bumpers are real easy to fix with plasti dip
