So I am going to eventually buy the items in the title.

I was looking at the complete old man emu lift but I had one on my old 3rd gen toyota pickup and it was so stiff that I had to ice my back after 2+ hours of driving.

The truck wont be used for hardcore off roading. The most offroad it will see is hunting the high alpines of Idaho and going to fishing spots. That being said I dont need a crazy 7000 dollar baja ready lift package. Just wanting to keep the ride enjoyable while giving it a little face lift.

Anyone with a similar set up or can recommend a decent lift to work with?

    Thanks.

I have done some searching but have yet to find any answers to my question. Close. But not exactly.

There's no guarantee those tires will fit without trimming the body mount, plenty will say they run it no rub then others will say they rub. It will all come down to alignment and luck as there is no consistency with these trucks outside of a 265 width 32" tire. (265 70 17)

Bilstein 5100 and progressive add a leaf is probably best bet for budget lift that will ride great.

There’s a whole thread on this already. Just search for it and this thread has hundreds of photos which this exact set up. Also no lift is needed.

Most of the people on that thread are stock suspension with that set up and no issue. I just got the wheels and getting those same tires this weekend and I’m not lifting it so we will see.
