I was looking at maybe getting the TRD Pro wheels. The choices for tires are a lot better then the TRD Sport that I purchased.

I was looking adding the Goodyear Wrangler MT/R with Kevlar tires. Does anyone have any thoughts of these items?

I love the Pro wheels but would recommend BFGs.

Working on it, dissent offroad racks, shift sense pro, pedal commander , ARB twin, rigid SS dually's , dual batteries, ARB fridge , 2.5 Fox coil overs wResi , 2.5 Fox rears w resi Total chaos UCA , deaver packs , Nitto trail grappler's 33" .
I like the Falken Wildpeaks and was going to get those, but damn they’re heavy. So grabbed some Nitto Ridge Grapplers instead .
They have weight also but I prefer them to the Falken tire. Just my preference nothing scientific:)

I was indeed. I do think I'm going to go with a km3 255/85/16 next though.

I have been reading lots of complaints about the KO2's and cannot balance them and quality problems. Have you had any?

The MT/R's are very heavy, you'll notice it in power and mpg's. It's a good tire though, just more than most need.

Have had bfg ATs and KO2s on every vehicle I’ve owned, from a 85 f150, 90 4Runner, 07 taco, 16 ram, and 18 taco. Never once had a problem. for what it’s worth, people that complain is the only thing you hear and it is blown out of proportion. how many 100’s of thousands of vehicles have the KO2s and you don’t hear a problem from them.

That is good to hear. They really look nice and would look great on the TRD Pro wheels.

I read a lot of reviews and there are more positive then negative.

You have any side profile shots of your truck?
I plan on putting 265/70/16 Wildpeaks on mine but its hard as hell to find people with good shots of what they look like. Waffling on 265/75

That’s what I’m running and on pro wheels. Awesome combo. I’ve got about 25-30k miles on them and have around 50% tread left

What pro wheels Tacoma or 4Runner? I ran 265/70r17 c-rated KO2's for about 40k with no problems. I am currently running 285/70r17 MTR's and am happy so far. Some thoughts about the 2. KO2's weigh less and perform well on and off road. The KO2's didnt seem to do as well in rain and I would spin them easily from a stop. The KO2's are a pretty quiet tire. The MTR's are much heavier and I feel it but I did go up in size a good bit. MTR's have done well on and off road but I havent been in mud to see how much better than the KO's they will perform. The MTR's are MUCH louder and slightly stiffer on the road. My brand new MTR's are louder than the KO2's I took off after 40k miles.

I have a set of new Wranglers (5) with 700 miles on them off my Pro. I replaced with BFGs TAKO2s. Available Sept. 3 when I get back from Yellowstone (not driving the Pro).

Yellowstone is beautiful this time of year. I’m heading there in late September.
Post some pics of your trip please and have a great time !

I will. Check out my post on the White Rim Trail, Canyonlands. It was pretty smoky from all the fires, though.

I thought Tacoma was understood since this is a Tacoma site. But yes, Tacoma TRD Pro
